If you like special cars, then you’ll love the Nasamax DM139! Indeed, the Nasamax DM139 is the first car to be built under the new LMP1 regulations in 2004.
After an initial trial with a Cosworth-powered Reynard the previous year, Team Nasamax is back at it again with this new DM139.
Even so, this new car is a derivate of the Reynard 2KQ-LM from the previous year, and there’s a slight family resemblance.
This time, the DM139 welcomes a Judd V10 still running on bioethanol, but this time on pure alcohol distilled from potatoes or sugar beet.
For this new regulation, she had a new diffuser, flat bottom, reduced rear spoiler, roll bar, double boss on hood and flanges.
This car even had the luxury of crossing the finish line of the 2004 Le Mans 24-hour race, finishing 17th overall and 6th in the LMP1 class.
It was the first car in history to cross the finish line on an alternative fuel.
The car’s career was brief, with just one year of competition, but it showed the way for a much more environmentally-friendly fuel, and even today, the Nasamax DM139 can be found in historic races !
Why have it on forza motorsport ?
An original car that went down in history as the first to be built under LMP1 regulations and to finish the 24 Hours of Le Mans on an alternative fuel.
Why not add a little history to Forza ? It would fit in very well in the Early LMP category.
