So I decided to have a few cracks at this in Rivals earlier, unsure why but I don’t do CC much so it was a nice change, was enjoying it, consistently knocking time off, and I eventually reached this point…

There is also 3 other examples of this on my page there, it happened time after time even with me trying going off both the left + right and also the middle of the ramp, my final time is slower than several of these ended up being after rewinding purely because I slowed down for that ramp to make sure I’d avoid them in the air.

But there is one thing on this course I would argue is even worse, because…

  1. It’s permanently there
  2. It cuts off the best driving line and…
  3. It wasn’t there originally, at some point throughout the game’s life this bug has turned up as my original ghost passed right through where it occurs, as it appears does the ghost I use for reference in the video below.

So after I’d finished I thought I would have a proper look at it, hopefully you can make out the general shape of the invisible barrier by all the places I slam into it.

Many players noteced this barrier couple of Series ago. At the time I thought it was the Pickup truck I was driving. Now, with the Showcase back to OG Bronco, you solved the mystery.

Can’t tell because of the cockpit view but are you sure you’re just not hitting one of the jet skis? I drive in chase cam view and that’s usually what I hit. So it’s not really you hitting anything but rather something hitting you.

Yep, I remember impacting the invisible barrier during that season & discussing it here. Seems to coincide with a lot of the other courses where previous props have been completely removed for whatever reason without regard to the final “fit & finish” for what remained.
