First time in the Horizon franchise and I'm already feeling the buyer's regret

The last Forza game I’ve played was Forza Motorsport 3 and haven’t touched a single Forza game ever since. Heard a lot of good things about the Horizon series and decided to wait for Horizon 4 to get in on it.

The game was fun at first but after getting all my favourite cars, I realised I was starting to get bored. Usually, once I get the cars I wanted, I’d tune them and keep playing multiplayer for like, forever. The singleplayer races are fun for a while but eventually even the AI cars get too predictable.

But boy is this game’s multiplayer such a mess. I don’t think this game even has a proper multiplayer race mode. Team adventure sounds just like it should fit in with the the other game modes like tag.

For a series that was praised so much, I’m starting to wonder, what’s the big deal? I never got to play the past Horizon series so if you guys could enlighten me, that would be great.

No solo adventure, no class championships, just people with goofy clothes and emotes. I’m fine with Toyota and Mitsubishi not being in the game but really?

Shouldn’t even call this game a racing game at this point. The only fun I had so far is just cruising around the map and seeing the seasons go by.

The buyer’s regret for me is so strong right now that I kinda wanna uninstall it just to hide the fact that I’ve made a terrible purchase.

Horizon 4 is the worst introduction into the series for me. I hope I’m wrong and that the past ones were actually way better.

This game is literally the Destiny of racing games. Just nice to look at but that’s pretty much it.
