For the very last time on here…

A 1990’s Retro Super Cars (Rainbow Bridge Descent)

Lambo Diablo (TGM, stock tires) – 2:30.317
Ferrari F355 (TGM, street tires) – 2:31.827

Ferrari 512 TR (TGM, stock tires) – 2:33.345

Merc CLK-GTR (TGM, stock tires) – 2:35.289
Jag XJ220 TWR (PJW0407, stock tires) – 2:36.081
Ferrari F50 (LMR Scantrax, stock tires) – 2:37.674
Jag XJ220 (pr1march ‘AWD’, rallies) – 2:37.858

911 GT2 ’95 (bramacher, rallies) – 2:41.078

I will share my Diablo tune later on, ended up at #55 with it on the board, couldn’t decide on the F355’s build as it looked good on stock, street and rallies so just went with the middle ground, I’d share that too but the same person that had the most popular Renault 5 tune for last season’s Trial has a slightly better time with it so if you see a tune from Peter LYJ use that, if it’s on Rallies then it’s perfect, no other car on Rallies should come close to the F355.

Edit: Shared the Diablo, SC 121 991 980

I grinded super wheelspins over the weekend like they were going out of fashion trying to get some of these cars, all I ended up getting was the 512 and 911, but built up so many credits from the grinding that I ended up sniping the CLK for over 4 million and buying the F50 from the autoshow (since an AH one would almost certainly have the F50 GT in it’s skill tree already redeemed).

A few other cars can drop to A class but need Drags so not worth trying, even pre-patch I wouldn’t have done.

I’ll still keep doing these tests but not sure where I’ll go after Tuesday, this place may not be perfect but there’s nowhere else like it and better suited to making posts like these, I don’t do much sentiment but I will miss this place.

I was just about to ask which car you’d recommend for the Trial. Thanks a lot for testing the cars and for sharing the tuning code!

Ditto. I feels like the end of an era and have really appreciated your posts!

Well this is delightful.

My ftth is off this morning with a flashing los light.

Reported to isp, get the usual speil then I get a text from the actual line support crew…ETR july 1st :sob::rofl:

Might have to use my eyeballs and read. 1-2Mb mobile data isnt enough

Sad to think this will be the last one of these posts I scour through.

Ending on a happier note, I do love the names of the challenges this season, specifically the daily challenges. Smells like Clean Spirit got a chuckle outta me

Is there a reason for why two of the best Dodge Vipers are locked behind wheelspins? After 100 Super wheelspins and ~84 regular I still have yet to get the 2016 ACR. I was blessed by chance to get the Formula Drift version at auction but yet to get the 2016. Glad to know that we can get a 2017 Ford GT in the 2010’s decade that we can easily buy ourselves, but not the ACR Viper that still holds track records to this day and was a send-off to the Viper project. Bad day to be a Viper fan.

It appears this one can be done in the Trial. Strange.

2 for 2 with the F355, no wet races.

Because they are two of the best Dodge Vipers. What sense would it make to lock crappy cars behind wheelspins that nobody’s interested in?

Well this is just baffling…

Event only lasted about 30 seconds and it finished instantly like this, so either the game had a bizarre freak out or that guy is a cheat.

Ah, the Trial, where everything’s made up and your brakes don’t matter. I went with the stock Diablo SV for my first attempt since it was the only car I owned that qualified. Somehow I found myself scoring 500 points after the very first corner because most of the AI yeeted themselves into oblivion. I would have easily finished with that too, if I didn’t get dive-bombed by a complete idiot in the city and sent outside a checkpoint. Sigh. The AI was so bad that I still finished with 300. We were down to only 4 players by the second race, and somehow I didn’t get brutally murdered in the docks section and we got an easy win.

Im pretty poor at drifting so try to avoid, however, what is a link drift skill and how do i get them in the playlist?I assume i can use a drift car for this event.

Your best bet would probably be a drift stunt party, you get a Link Drift skill from drifting in tandem with another player.
