To be honest I don’t think anyone would’ve noticed but it was bugging me for nearly a fortnight and, as before, the downloads were negligible so I ended up sorting it out for my peace of mind, LoL.

Nemesis ‘Project Mustang’
Very simple design adapted to fit the Hot Wheels version of the Mustang. Got to admit I thought it’d be a doddle until it came to finding out what the little logo on the rear quarter was… honestly took hours of Googling and even more on Facebook!
Finally found it, turns out the company made wraps for cars but changed names a few years ago which was why it was so difficult to identify. Only 2 decals on this car so I just had to keep searching…… I know fellow painters will have a wry smile thinking of the amount of time we put into getting those details correct

All paints looking fantastic in game and in these pics.
The M8 looks really sharp with the asymmetrical design.
HW Mustang has cool vibe to it, hours of googling, yeah, glad I quit replicas, can always find “something else” for a fantasy!

La Chanti Performance/Cool-Tints 370Z
Another wrap by Cool-Tints, this one was for La Chanti Performance featuring their Ferrada rims. I had a job finding a decent image of a couple of logos so it sat on the back burner for a long time. Perseverance paid off in the end and I decided to add a version for the ‘19 model too.

Ferrari Heart
This was my 2nd entry for PTG’s Ferrari Livery Comp (linked in post 4) which I started late and rushed to meet the deadline. On reflection I unshared the design pretty quickly as it really looked half baked and it was probably another 3 weeks or so before I got round to finishing it off properly.
Inspired by Russian artist Daria Kolosova’s “Heart of the Ferrari Scuderia” painting which she painted on a sheet of copper instead of traditional canvas - I tried the same for the hood image but it didn’t have the required effect so had to ‘paint’ the copper background. In the end I settled for some subtle cutouts on the roof and doors which show up as you spin round the car.

I never really give any thought to photo comps, this one’s well out of date in any case as it was from H4… I remember taking this one straight afterwards because it kind of looked like this fella had the hump with me taking a sly shot of his missus

It was one of those glitches where you could get ‘backstage’ by setting up the finish line of a custom race. Not sure if it works for this game though, hadn’t thought to try

Not sure why I didn’t post this at the same time as the Colorado ZR2 but anyway, another one from TC’s Wildlands’ Santa Muerta pack… this one was inspired by the design on the helicopter and was previously only available via the AH.

Dangermouse.
My entry for the 10th Retro Cartoon Contest. Always seemed to miss out on DM in the past but finally got to make my version which I hope holds it’s own against all the excellent designs over the years. Had fun watching many episodes over again while trying to paint some of the iconic images & characters associated with the cartoon
