Bug Info: After latest Steam update to FH5, I noticed my Fanatec wheel/pedals were no longer working or recognized in game. FH5 is the only game I’m experiencing this issue with. I have 10 other racing sims and all work great.
When I go into Settings → Controls → Wheel, Layout is blank and all actions are unassigned. It does not recognize any input from my wheel/pedals when attempting to assign controls. (see screenshot)
See also screenshot of my Fanatec Control Panel to verify up to date driver and Firmware:
Platform: Steam, Windows 11 Pro v23H2 PC, Intel 12th Gen i7-12700KF, 32GB Ram
Edition: Standard
Account: solo account
PC GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070ti Driver v572.16
Peripheral: Fanatec CSL DD Wheel Base, CSL Wheel, ClubSport Pedals, Driver v464
Attempted fixes: Rebooted computer (several times), Windows 11 up to date, verified Steam files, verified Fanatec driver files, connected Fanatec to different USB port, even unplugged power to the wheel base instead of just turning it off via its power button, plugged back in. Made sure it’s on before launching into FH5. Even tried turning wheel off and back on after launching game, or launching game with wheel off, then turning on once in game. - No change.
Went back into other racing sims to verify wheel works properly, including Motorsport, and wheel/pedals work in other games. Just suddenly stopped in FH5.
Content Update: Was this happening prior to the most recent content update or did it start after the update? This only started happening after recent FH5 update.
