FH5 Lagging very bad, even with a excellent internet Connection…
The last 3 days my Cars speed will drop down to 30 or 40 mph during a race, then after a few seconds takes off like a bat out of hell… I have tweaked all my Settings, Resolution etc. checked for updates for my Xbox Series S, and checked for Controller updates, used a Wired Controller, tried Rebooting Modem, and Router, it still slows down, THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING ON FH5, not on FH4 or other games etc. PLEASE HELP
The same thing happens to me. Idk exactly what causes it. It gets worse every time the game updates.
I’ve never had this issue, it makes it impossible to play, I come in last unless someone misses a Checkpoint. I hope they fix this soon.
Thank you @Banjacked8153 I am wireless, I always have used Wifi, and no problems until the last few Days, but I tested my Speeds and my Download Speed is 473mbps and 12mbps Upload speed, and everything else I am using, Security Cameras, PC, Phones, all running perfectly… but I’ve checked FH5 known issues, and didn’t see this issue listed.

I used to be completely wired but where my Xbox is now there is only wireless internet.
Ban, That is the perfect setup you have, unfortunately I’m running the Signal to a different House about 700’ away, so I have to use a node System with an Extender at final house destination… but I think I’ve got it fixed, the Assist Brakes setting got turned on and after tuning it off, it stopped the Slowing Down to 30 or 40 mph, so I really don’t understand it, I’ve used ABS before, it never did that… Thanks for all the Help 
Yes, you are exactly right , after researching, it was on assisted after a reboot and I went in to customize and thought it was assisted that I used, talk about losing every Race, Id have it floored going around corners or before ramps, and the car would just slow down, for 3 days I messed with my Connection because that’s what the general opinion was… but after I had 473 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload… and everything else was working, I started changing my settings, and Bingo, I changed it to No Assistance and no slowing down, with ABS there was minimal slow down… Thank you for your Help…
