FH5 DLC: Italian Exotics Car Pack | August 2023

You know, it’s really interesting when people like us notice a certain “theme” of a car pack. Or maybe a “theme” of a certain car type (GT class for example).

This makes me fully believe in the fact that they (playground and probably Turn 10) use different design teams for different car packs/car types). This would explain the inconsistency between car performance.

I do engineering and 3D design in a different industry but each of our departments focus on one thing and not multiple things.

If this isn’t the case with playground and focus is all over the place, then this would explain a lot. I guess which every design group is available or whichever sub-contractor is available first, does these car groups. In conclusion, you’ll never see consistency in performance.

As you also noticed, there was a build trend with the re-added Italian car group. Different design team than the car pack group….I’m almost convinced of it now.

I bought the Italian car pack and it froze my xbox one s at the loading screen. I had to erase and reload the whole game. The car pack didn’t reload. luckily all the cars and my 105 million credits did. So what’s going on Turn 10?

Gambling is never the answer to Forza frustration, otherwise I would be a very poor man :-).

Only tried the SCV12 out of the pack so far. Fun grip car for S2. Did 2.01 at Copper and it’s fun for the circuits. Not as strong as the Brabham and nowhere near the BTTB but probably competitive with most other S2 cars on handling tracks.

Gambling is really the answer to nothing.

Hahaha, nah. No gambling of course. Only a lack of skills in English
Didn’t even see the error (bet/bed).
Did you run the 155 yet?

No, I have only driven the 33S so far. Have had very limited time but plan to try them out tonight/tomorrow.

It’s obviously difficult to make educated guesses about the progress of car handling/performance programming but I’m pretty sure they use different templates for different car types/categories.

It can’t be a coincidence Retro Supercars houses the most meta/off-meta cars and always has. New additions (XJR-15, Schuppan) instantly get that insane mechanical grip, the low drag and PI-saving Sports gearbox.

On the other side we have GT and Super GT which have the highest density of trash tier cars in the Series.
F-Type, Aston One-77, Aston DBS SL, Bentley Supersports, Aston DB11, McLaren GT, AMG GT-S, AMG GTR (horrible in Horizon 5 while quite good in 4) are all bottom performance.
A maxed out One-77 (full weight reduction, Slicks, full front & rear tire width) has less lateral g than A800 cars on Rallye tires.
The new Roma feels like a carbon-copy of the DBS SL.

To further cement that impression the DaVinci serves as a very good example.
It has the same engine type, power/torgue, weight & tires on A800 as the Taycan S.
If the PI system would be working they should be equal.
But the Taycan has better acceleration, higher top speed & more lateral g.
Car categories? Taycan Super Saloons.
DaVinci? You guess it - GT.

When paying for the game 70-80% of the cars in the game are recycled garbage from FH3 and FH4… now they are releasing brand new cars they want us to pay for 2 different DLCs… after paying $80 for the Premium Edition…

I dont mind paying if there was an additional game modes… tracks… challenges… but to pay for cars to drive on the same old game… its like taking something that is urs… change the label and reselling it to you… its

Not to mention the glitches… crashes… bugs … in addition the game is going downhill in terms of usage…

now they have the audacity to ask for more money 15% additional cost on the Premium Edition that is supposed to include everything and stop you worrying about whether to buy this or that !!!

Just release ONE version so everyone knows that they are purchasing the base game/cars … and subsequently have the ability to buy whatever whenever…

I’ve moved the post as the S4 isn’t from the car pack.

  1. Name me a Forza Game where 70-80% of the cars weren’t from the previous game.
  2. You already got loads and loads of brand new vehicles over the last 1 2/3 years of updates.

I mean, i wonder if there’s something that allows you to get new game modes, tracks, challenges and cars on top that you paid, i forgot the name though, maybe i’ll remember later.

Usage overall (even on Steam) has increased over the last few months, with the Free weekend providing a new peak use since November 2021.

No one said that Premium would include everything, least of all the developers themselves, plus, this has always been the case, be happy that they aren’t making you pay for cars from the previous game, you know, like in FM5.

Or you could also read the description to see what you’re getting, that usually tells you what you’ll receive in exchange for your money.

I do like the 296 and the roma with the svc20 which was really cool to drive and I bought the car pack and i enjoy the driving the hell out of these cars. I thought the daytona sp3 along the revuelto and the new countach was going to appear but I am happy with them. Maybe in the next update or future updates these cars would appear.
