These cars were tuned to be both fast enough to win, and easier for me to drive [I’ve got arthritis and dexterity issues]. They’re set up for auto shifting, so you’re probably not going to set any WRs, but they’re easy wins vs. the bots, even if you’re a mid sort of driver like me. I completed all of the solo events with drivatars set on Pro, but only Highly Skilled is required for full rewards.

PSA : DO NOT LOG OFF FROM DLC MAPS. Do not stay on DLC maps for season changes. If you don’t return to the UK before the change, the photo challenge will uncomplete itself. As a precaution, double check your home setting, as the game may set it on the DLC automatically on your first visit. This is particularly important in this Series, as it is your last chance to get Playlist-dependent achievements.

Did I miss something? Did they turn the AI into pinball slappers? I honestly got slapped like a pinball in every trial race lol. It was exhausting. I won my first go round in the Ford Capri FE…I wouldn’t recommend that one though. It is hard to control. Then used the RS which drove nicely…and I won the first 2…and helped two other players hold back the AI. I need ice packs after the beating the AI gave me though. It was really rough this week.

Yeah, it’s the same thing as the cross country buggies from (series 76?) where the AI is unusually strong, to the point of straight up cheating. They perform absolute perfectly, even while you’re trying to stop them. (I had a clip where I was pushing against a drivatar before a ramp. It somehow lost no momentum and actually accelerated out of said ramp. I would show that clip, but Steam somehow corrupted my footage and I only have 20 minutes of recording - gotta love betas.)

I played for about 90 minutes with the Opel. I barely won one event. I’ll pick this up tomorrow, this is incredibly rage inducing.

I think I’ll skip the trial. I’ve done it in repeated seasons and from my experience, if the team don’t win the first race then there’s little hope of them winning the next two particularly the last one, where that final jump is a killer. Hoonigan RS200 is probably the best car to use, the Capri FE rare though it may be drives horribly.

Yeah, think i’ll be skipping this one as well, just too much frustration finding a decent team to win with, plus the AI are lethal.

This Trial is a rough one. Although I did get on a winning team with my Opel, the car I’d most strongly recommend is the Welcome Pack Hoonigan Fiesta RS RX .

wow these ai’s 6 hours deep nothing then have drivers that can’t drive.

then you know have the random oopps your car won’t turn or invisible corner grrrr

Again many thanks for your help with these tunes as a very late comer to the game you’ve made it easy to chase the achievements that will be unobtainable in a few weeks.
I don’t have the Mosler (I think my 1st backstage pass will be spent on one!) or the 91 Peugeot 205, was able to complete the PR stunts with a TVR Speed 12 using someone else X tune.
In place of the 91 Peugeot 205 I used a 91 Honda CR-X SIR with a tune (116 206 384) of yours I found.
Only The Trial to do so will be using the Hoonigan Focus RS RX Welcome Pack.

Sometimes, your team will pull off a very late win, while you’re looking at the grid screen because you already finished. That screen isn’t quite real-time, so you won’t see the score change.

You should have a Mosler in your gift messages tab, along with a number of other cars given to every player by the developers.

In any case, yes, it’s a car I consider essential.

Have you checked your gift messages? There should be a Mosler there from when you initially started the game.

I forgot which trial this was when I matched into it. I remember a few months ago when it last came around it took my 15 attempts to complete it. But I must have had good luck this week since we nailed the first two races on my first attempt. That third race is impossible though, too much random luck in those jumps.
I used a a great tune for the opel manta that killed it. I can get the tune later if anyone wants it.

Worst trial, hands down.

It’s tough but the stock Caterham is the worst trial ever at least in my opinion.

That S2 Street one where all the races are wet/raining is my personal worst.

Yes, that’s 3 bad ones we’ve now listed, I think that’s why FH5 has so much easier trials.
