When I travel to the new LEGO valley the loading screen comes on then goes black and finally crashes out of the game back to the Xbox Home screen.
Also, obviously have updated but while the initial game is loading a screen comes up telling me that I need to update the game, why? when it has already updated?
Not sure if anyone else is having this problem?

Getting the same problem, but on PC. The game crashes randomly it seems, sometimes in the loading screens, sometimes while im driving. Has crashed on me 5-6 times so far and I havent been able to play for longer than 5-6 minutes before it crashes.
Game is updated to latest version ( 1.313.159.2 )
Nvidia drivers are up to date ( v430.86 )

I can’t even launch the game post update - it crashes right away. Everything is up to date (windows, nvidia drivers and the game). Uninstalled everything game related and downloaded it again, but without any success to launch the game.
Quite annoying to deal with these issues after every major update. 
Also having the same crashing issues.
Game will open and load, but then on the loading screen within the game (after clicking continue on the welcome screen) the game freezes up and crashes.
I’m very disappointed, as was able to play the lego expansion yesterday and nothing on my system has changed. In the time since the game came out, I’ve reinstalled it at least 5 times due to various issues and on a 20mbps connection do want it to be the sixth (:

May work for you, may not but I’ve just reset the game data in Windows 10 and everything works again!
It connected to xbox again and took some time to sync but after seems to have worked. Haven’t tried rebooting yet but have restarted the game with success.
Still, turn10 and playground games really should be appalled at how many issues this has as an AAA title.
Getting the same problem on PC. The game crashes in the loading screens. But i try to reset the game data in Windows 10 and everything not works again! Only when i delete the LEGO expansion the game starts to work.
I think i found a solution. You start your Forza without having the lego dlc installed. Then, you have to change your spawn home into one in the normal forza horizon 4 map. Then you can close the game and install Lego dlc again and it should work. The problem is that the game changes your spawn house and tries to load immediatlely into the Lego map wich causes problems on some computers. But Having your spawn house in the normal forza world shoud avoid this problem. I tried this solution on 2 different pcs and it worked both times. So again:
