OK so i had this on pre-order, get it, play it and there no tuning of the car for the 360 version, [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] T10. It’s [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] near 2015 and you one ZERO tuning and adjustments on the car we by parts for, not to mention the price tag of the new game. We have now engine swaps from other manufactures AKA no V8 swap in imports. what were you guys thinking?! why don’t the ONE have this stuff, it’s not a huge memory or processing difference, so tell me why i payed for HALF A GAME!!! I hope this to be in a soon to come patchs along with fixing the blank white pause screen menu tiles. The ONE version has at least a simple picture on the white tiles. Why is there a tile on my “home” pause menu for buying a car when there is already a tile to buy cars in the “cars” menu. THANK YOU for having this game work with my Forza Motorsport Fanatec CSR wheel set up. I have over a $1000 into my driving sim equipment, I have spent a lot of time modding it to so i could have the full Forza 4 experience. ans that’s an AMAZING GAME!!! I know you ran out of over head with FM4 but if u made an extended released final DLC, it would sell. You guys like money rite? Release a final DLC for FM4 including everything you know we forza fans want and deserve after all these years… but this is about FH2 not FM4. plz don’t screw the 360 gamers with HALF A GAME.
Heres a start for you guys to work on plz for our next patch: Tuning, all engine swaps ONE has, more online freeplay/cruse options, fix blank tiles, STOP cars from sinking through the map near fences [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] GTA5 all over again lol, 84 Ferrari GTO has no turbo spool effects even after all upgrades maybe for other cars as well. theres no Bowler in the game yet to use but we see it in the loading screen, why???
I’ll find more simple stuff that you guys left out of the 360 version and bring it here for question, plz leave this open to other members that would like to input on the 360 to ONE version differences and issues they are having.
First off, the best way to gain attention from anyone is to organize, and wey’ve arite a well written, and grammatically correct post. Turn 10’s priority is on the Xbox One version, as far as I know they will release the DC on both systems, not sure on updates though. I would assume that they would update anything that has a negative effect on the gameplay experience, but anything other than that would probably be pushing it.
I’m a Commercial Fisherman in Alaska, spelling and grammar aren’t my strong suit. Dealing w my job and wife is my strong suit. I don’t have time and nether do they, these forums is here for Forza based support and info sharing " hope they are listening". Making things work better is my job, and simple things like tuning, tile fixing and matching XB1 engine swap isn’t asking to much from the 360’s abilities. But asking dedicated fans of their Forza franchise to pay new game prices and not meet the expectation of today’s standards is. I want to know what other simple things other people are noticing thats different that really didn’t have to be. Not blah blah XB1 blah blah the new system, this is your last game fore the 360. Go out strong.
The XB One version of FH2 has the same graphics engine and internals (e.g. Tuning and Paint) as FM5. That is why they can have the ability of tuning. The 360 is an old console now and it’s proccessor can’t handle things like dynamic whether without the frame rate being all messed up. Naturally T10 are marketing it as a next-gen game because that’s what’s gonna get them more money. They are going to pay attention to the 360 anymore hence why there’s no DLC. They are just waiting for the people on 360’s to transfer to the One. If you want to play a sim play FM4 or get an XB One. Plus if you have over $1000 worth of sim equipment surely you could afford a new console.
The tuning, and painting in FM5 is exactly the same as FM4. By your logic, there should be tuning in 360 FH2 : 360 FH2 is based on FH1 which is based on FM4.
There isn’t such and such a thing in the 360 version because the game was developed for the Xbox One with new hardware and a new game engine. The 360 version is based on the old game and that’s the only reason the 360 even got Horizon 2. If you want next gen Forza with open wheel cars and weather etc the you’ll have to get it on next gen.
Well, look on the bright side. Very soon, you’ll be able to use you Fanatec CSR set up on Xbox One (Fanatec just announced this the other day on their Facebook page). Go buy a Xbox One & FH2. Now you can enjoy the better version of FH2 with your set up. Time to move on to next-generation buddy.
I enjoy FH2 on Xbox One with Thrustmaster TX/GTE rim.
Side note, Project Cars comes out next month & will blow Forza Motorsport & GT out of the water. It’s next-generation & PC only. I can’t wait to get it. I bought FH2 as a filler to hold me over for a month and a half.

Project cars is not pc only it’s coming out for xbox one and ps4 with gamecube to follow next year.
I am curious about his Fanatec comment though. I was under the impression the Xbox one compatibility would only be on the new CSR v2 base + a specific wheel and eventual compatibility with PS4 via a separate, new wheel.
Redundant. Buy the Xbox one version if you want the features advertised for that game, Its a rough fact, but those of us who have lived through the last gen crossover days know this truth, miltigen releases dont help anyone…
Everything about the 360 version was know well in advance…
Is it a dumbed down version? No, it is a completely different game. How people expect the Xbox one version on 360 I will never understand… Do you also want Halo on N64?
The other issue I have with this is did anyone honestly expect anything spectacular from Sumo Digital? I wouldn’t even consider them a “B” team…
all of you down the xbox 360 and saying it’s not able to handle a game like forza horizon 2 i beg the deffer on that because if it wasn’t for xbox 360 none of yall would be playing on a new xbox you forget xbox 360 is still able to do just as much as the xbox one and plus ya’ll keep saying they aren’t worried about the xbox 360 version come on now if they didn’t have it along side the xbox one no one would be playing horizon 2 because all the people on 360 still buy game’s for it so stop being so rude to people who rather play on xbox 360 because there is no point in being rude.
Thomas Jackermeier, CEO of Endor/Fanatec: “I am very excited to announce this partnership as we have been working with Microsoft behind the scenes on new and exciting products. Xbox One and “Forza Motorsport” will continue to be a landmark of ultra-realistic racing simulations on any gaming console and we look forward to bringing this realism to a whole new level for our fans.”
