@geistwriter Was doing Buggies championship and had someone that did 2:12 at 2nd race (Festival CC) in #1107 Bug. Are you up for a challenge?
IMO he was cheating (looking at movement of his car), but we can do some runs
PS. I also did Trial few times and I think game is mocking me. In every race fastest AI uses Golf R from newest car pack. I would like to own one, but I’m not going to buy that pack. Stop harassing me
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the 3rd race in the Trial but it happened this week.
I expected to win the first race since Estadio curcuit is where I test my road tunes but wasn’t really able to bring it together and ended up with a respectable podium finish.
The second race was a disaster for the whole team, including me.
We all missed at least one checkpoint and got crushed by the drivatars.
The team was able to bring it together in the third race and I ended in 2nd place behind a runaway drivatar.
My expectations were low going in, honestly. It seemed like a boring addition and I didn’t get the hype.
But wow, they delivered. 13 (!!) engine swaps, and all of them are ridiculous in the best way possible. Drift suspension looks great too. And the taxi sign is a nice addition. My only complaint is that the max tire width is 225, which might suck for drifting (and racing possibly as well) but we’ll see.
Did the trial in a Vocho with the taxi livery. 2nd in first race to a runaway AI but first in the second race. Plenty of rammers both AI and ‘team mates’.
So you are lucky, I cannot play that race at all, always says the content was not downloaded yet and I have to connect to Forza Live.
Only mystery is that I already online, I can see plenty of my friends in the player list and even there it says I am online. Must been because I can see the Forza Arcade Circles…
yeah, max tire wish we could get like 265 rear and 245 front. that being said its not bad on the 225s. the wheels themselves are the lightest you can get which was surprising but overall it drifts nice.
right now I have the 7.0L with the stock 6 speed swap trans and then the other drift stuff and aero and it slides nicely.
at first I had same thoughts as you
Great to have you back! Your Trial tune worked great, nice work. My team was dead weight this week so we lost the 2nd race despite my P2, but I won the first and third races and the team was just close enough there to get by.
@not_2_good1708 Yeah, I’ve finished my drift tune and done some testing and the 225s are not nearly as bad as I thought. Even with the 7.2 V8 and 1070 HP. Steering angle is great and it’s super smooth to drive. I copied some of the settings from my favorite drift car, the #88 Mustang RTR, and it carried over nicely.
So, I was a bit… perplexed ? nah, maybe just curious, why the Series 80point reward car wasn’t an Exclusive, just the Ferrari 250 GT Not that it wouldn’t happen anyway even with just the 20point FOMO plan. Then I got the stinkin badges for the Tsuru and there it was, another stinkin badges for getting the Ferrari 250 GT during Día de Muertos. So there ya go, in case anyone else was wondering
I was absolutely puzzled when I read the blog post for S26 and it listed the 250 GT Lusso alongside all the brand new and exclusive cars. That car has been in the game for a year and a half…
Something for the Trial. It’s nothing fancy. If you want something more “racy” looking or want to use an other car I’ve designs for every single VW. For some even more than one.
I had to do all three races because there was runaway AI in the second one. Three AI cars actually finished in front of me (4th place). In the other two races I got 1st with ease. I really don’t know where this inconsistency comes from. Bad tongues would say that’s a way to artificially boost engagement time.
I spent some time tuning the Super Speed car pack vehicles.
All have very good to great handling, but super speed seems to be a bit of a misnomer with the exception of maybe the Porsche that will exceed 230mph in S1 class.
No new meta cars here but I think there’s some fun to be had for those that like superb handing cars that are maybe a little down on speed compared to the competition.
The Elemental kind of reminds me of the Bac Mono. Incredibly lite at about 1400lbs and of course the grip is impeccable but doesn’t really have the speed to match some of the other Track Toys in S1 Class.
The new Golf R is basically like the other Golf R’s. Not much more to be said about it.
The KTM X-Bow GT2 certainly has the handling nailed down but don’t think it has the top speed to compete with other S2 cars.
I committed blasphemy by AWD swapping the new Porsche, but it’s so smooth and fast in S1 class.
Not a bad car pack all in all but not as cool as the Italian Exotics pack was.
