Festival Playlist events and rewards Nov. 9-16 (Summer S27)

The horrible team mates were out in tandem today. I went 4-0 in the 2 runs I got only because I can navigate the people driving 200 mph into the walls and took the inside lines to avoid the rammers. Must say the 2017 did better than my 2018 camaro though…but like it is shown above their are some real immature peeps playing this game lately. It’s a team comp not a ram you cause you can’t steer or drive and you have like a 9.0 speed rating lol.

Belvedere engine swaps

Stock 426ci V8
6.7L F450 V8 turbo diesel
Hellcat motor
Ford GT40 MKII V8 (485 HP)
TVR Cerbera Speed 12 engine
Trophy truck 7.2L racing V8
8.9L V8 DSC
Funco F9 7.4L twin-turbo V8 (1750HP)

Good selection, though I’m surprised there’s no LS3 option like there usually is.

curious - how do you know what the engines actually are? all I remember seeing is “racing V12” or whatever, nothing more specific

If you think that was bad then watch this clusterfunk.

yeah, standard stuff, I feel a slight wave of panic come over me if it isn’t a red car behind me

Trial Tunes! Two choices here. A nimble AWD steed that loves to eat up apexes. Or, 1,200+ RWD monster that is all power! Choose your weapon.

These tunes will also work for the PR Stunts.

2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R
Share Code: 118-048-728
AWD, WB, ALS 854 HP 3,100lbs
Handling dream! This Mustang can run the corners and keep you up front with great acceleration.

2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE
Share Code: 159-559-386
RWD, WB, Drift tires 1,284 HP!!!
Power Build Monster! How much patience do you have for that right trigger? This tune takes your full attention and throttle control. If you can master these beast than you will be king.

Good luck! I also have tunes shared for the rest of the seasonal events. You can find them on my hub.

I’ve become very familiar with what these engines are. Forza Wiki is a good help, but knowing the specs of the cars and size of the engines can also help you identify them easily. For example, that Racing V12 is 4.7L and makes 750HP. That can only be from one car - the Ferrari F50 GT.

Also, Max has a thorough list of engine swaps/source cars in the tuning section here.

What tires? It looks like your car doesn’t want to turn at all.

I’m having a blast in 2017 Camaro - AWD race tires WB full aero

PS. Anyone have performance issues after last game/drivers update? Like massive frame drops + sometimes audio cuts off.
Even after turning off TAA, which automatically turns on after every graphics card drivers update and is usually responsible for that.

Slicks and I actually felt and think the same. Even more after having watched the replay a couple times.

Did they change something with the physics in this update? Is what some people said about the strange handling on the second Eventlab track maybe related to this? I also felt something was off in at least one turn there but just shrug it off.

Btw, the new Saleen handled extremely well for a stock RWD car of this class in the monthly rivals. Even with a wheel.

I definitely noticed a difference in the second Eventlab but I figured the creator must have increased the gravity or changed something in the physics if that’s even possible or maybe it was the tequila.:upside_down_face:

I didn’t notice a difference in any of the other playlist events.

Are we talking about the city one? If so, I noticed my LFA felt oddly slippery on a few turns there, even though it was bone stock.

Yes, the one on the Eventlab island but for me and the others it rather seems to be the opposite to your experience with better grip/handling.

Just tried to build my own 2018 Stang with slicks and full aero. Applied my usual settings and it was a bit better than in your video, but not much. Also very prone to snap oversteer.

With that many hours as I’ve in FH5 I should have know this, but are slicks + wet road = worse grip than race tires on wet road?

I like semi slicks in the wet. It does seem car dependent though. A car with enough built mechanical grip can work with slicks in the wet.

The car surely isn’t a cornering wonder and mine is also AWD but what you see in the video simply seems off. Even for wet conditions.

I’ve no clue as the overwhelming part of my S1 cars are on slicks so I don’t have any direct comparison to race tires in the wet in that class. From my general experience I’d say no even if it would make sense.

Well… erm… it’s open to ones personal interpretation of who’s which specific God.
I’ll leave it to your imagination before this thread deviates into a ‘NO! MY beard’s longer than yours’ thread.

Since you asked, nothing like that, that I noticed, but then didn’t play a ton either. All I noticed was an apparent significant increase in loading time to game start. At least it seemed so over a few startups.

Regarding the Wild West (City) event lab it’s 2x gravity. I don’t think this is enabled on X1 consoles iirc. Reading skillz count!

Which is to say… DOH ! I should read stuff more
