It does look a bit odd tonight.
Says I’m online but haven’t seen a single player since starting up.

Bit of a funny story: had noticed some D Class accolades that were available I had not yet completed, so started out this morning with the intent to complete some of those. Decided on trying the Datsun, but wasn’t feeling the plain black paint job I had on the car, so thought I’d take a few minutes & spruce it up a bit. Well…it decidedly became a bit more complex than that
I guess a big part of the design side for me is when you start working on a car & start finding different combos of things that just look good & you build from there. This is basically what happened here & I just kept adding/modifying the design for several hours before I got it the way I wanted & I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Anyway, not sure if others will feel the same, but I did share it for anyone who would like to check it out. Thanks as always & hope you like it.

Honestly don’t know why I needed first hand proof of what I said earlier but I decided to get it, the M-B W154 and Auto Union don’t go anywhere near the full 900PI but the 8CTF does so I quickly threw together a build myself and went on Aeródromo Sprint…

Then I took a completely ‘meh’ car on there that isn’t that well suited to the course…

And finally a car that is a bit better suited but is still nothing special for S1 road…

That Corvette is a pretty lively car itself but it had nothing on the 8CTF, no aero of any kind available and street brakes are the best that can be installed, with those things, it having over 600hp and weighing just over 1500lbs even getting that time with it was awful, I don’t want to imagine what the experience of trying to get it around the Oval would be like.

So yeah even more so than before stick to the eligible Track Toys or the BS for that championship.

I had some good results with the Ariel atom, basically keeping pace with my Viper AE on Oval, can’t quite catch it and not gonna waste any more time

Driving that oval reminds me of a staring contest, it’s mind numbing to me. Maybe if it were three times that size, but just making a constant left hand turn as smoothly as possible loses enjoyment quickly.

Agreed but hopefully the race is longer than the usual 3 laps because it feels like it’s over before you even get going and if you don’t get past those lead AI it could be a loss and 3rd race for the team.

Season Festival Tunes Season 27 Winter

Here is this week’s Trial, Forzathon Weekly and the Oval seasonal championship tunes. I have tunes on my creative hub that can you can use to finish out the rest of the seasonal playlist. These tunes posted are new tunes for this week’s challenges.

The Trial
“Powerslide” A800 Modern Muscle
2014 HSV Gen F GTS
Share Code: 140-162-871
Everyone should have this car in their garage. This car loves the dirt and should mop up the competition.

Alternate Trial tune

2009 Corvette ZR1
Share Code: 115-502-498
Not for the faint of heart. If you want to run something unique and different, here is your ride.

Forzathon Weekly Challenge
“American Muscle”
2009 ZR1 Corvette
Share Code: 345-534-066
This tune will do the “Blue Devil” justice.

Seasonal Championship
“Indy-Pendence Day” S1 900 Open Wheel

KTM X-Bow
Share Code: 152-947-465

BAC Mono
Share Code: 123-911-093

Both of these cars are readily available. In testing I was consistently doing lows 1:14 laps. You can pin both of these tunes and turn left. No need to brake. Hug that inside line and blow past your competition

lol I built and tested 4 cars for that race. I did a Bone Shaker powerbuild. It literally turned into a sprint car. It was fun dirt tracking that thing around that oval. It’s not a racing setup though and despite hitting about 190 on the straights it can’t keep its cornering speed up. Definitely fun though and I turned FH5 into my own World of Outlaws game…

I did share a much calmer version of that build with the stock motor. It’s quick but just a hair off the KTM and BAC.

they almost never change stuff like number of laps, in fact they shorten caldera in seasonals

Should be interesting. Already DL’d your HSV tune & gave it a quick run; very solid tune, so ready to go for the trial. Thanks for sharing

Happy Thanksgiving to anyone here celebrating. Hopefully y’all get the turkey and pumpkin pie meal deal instead of the usual FH5 40pt meal deal.

Oh crap, I didn’t realize there was no country restriction on the Trial. I’ll keep your tune in mind but I still want to make my own for the practice. If it doesn’t work out I’ll switch to yours.

I mean, there’s what… two non-American options? That’s probably why they chose that category. (The Vauxhall being the other.) Otherwise it’s Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, or Ford.

Anyone else having issues with the Trial? It’s taken multiple attempts just to get into a session, with multiple disconnects. I’ve managed to get into 2 initial races, finished both, then was disconnected during the cut scene. I get that the server load is probably higher than normal with the holiday here in the States, but pretty frustrating…
