Festival Playlist events and rewards Nov. 2-9 (Spring S26)

Those were certainly some creative lines around that course.

I snagged your livery and tried out your tune. Very nice handling tune. I think that car is suited for A class.
It’s so lite and snappy you can really go aggressive into the corners.

Thanks for giving it a try & for the feedback; glad you enjoyed it! I agree, A class seems to suite it pretty well & it definitely has that classic Porsche temperament that’s hard to beat.

Thought I was the only one struggling with this  Not to mention the rendering on the mountain, which get to be pretty annoying.

I knew the pic was an old Ford, but I tried it with the VW Golf I had just used to clear the PR stunts and it worked.

I totally hate s2 though…but I am warming up to it. I think I doubted my tuning skills is why. As I have gotten better though…my confidence in the class has gotten better. Going to have to try some vehicles in it…lately been running s1 online with the alfa romeo 33…

I did a mid-week refresh with color inversions for the Delorean and the NSXs, a Man City conversion on the Porsche for @AudioRebelUK , and a feature of the Flame Whiteout on the Jesko.

Since like 5 days, i cant connect in festival playlist, i cant get rewards and i got the “Reserve playlist”

Welcome @SkorpionMaster1

That sounds like a serious issue. I sometimes get the reserve playlist when the servers are down but it generally lasts for only around 10 mins or so. 5 days is brutal.
I would definitely be contacting support on that one.

I never got the reason behind the reserve playlist. Why not let the player do the normal list on the offline content till the servers resume and let it re-sync after connection is restored ?

You need to get in touch with the Devs directly on that.

From Thursday so I can’t remember much about it, given there’s 3 screenshots that’s probably best though, evidently a poor team.

I knew from the picture that it was Las Laderas or Cruce but tested on LL as it was much shorter.

DeLorean proving to be a very versatile car if tuned properly, that’s B street, road and dirt along with A dirt that it has been very good in.

It’s cool that it’s actually practical. It’s currently the exclusive car that’s been the longest since it has been released, so in theory that might give it some value (auction house speaking).

When I was building my collection the Delorean was one of my early targets, but I don’t recall it being difficult to oick up at that time. Not sure what the market is like now.

The exploit that allowed you to buy as many as you wanted from the car collection page has impacted its rarity but I’m not sure how much it’s going for in the auction house at this time.

Used this quite a few times running some different Rivals events, so decided to take some time to create a Rally livery for it with a metallic blue flake. Share code below for anyone interested. Thanks & enjoy!

I appreciate the discussions about tuning for next week’s season getting put in their own dedicated thread from here on out. I often complete the playlist a bit later in the week (extreme case, but I did all 70 points for last week’s on the final day), and it was trying having to wade through a bunch of unrelated posts to find some info about the current week. Doubly so since I don’t tune my cars. And nothing at all against those who enjoy doing it, it’s just nice seeing it posted in a more on-topic place.

Pretty quick week, with only one seasonal championship and PR stunts that were easily handled by a stock Golf R (probably any Golf R really). I ran into some weirdness during the Eliminator though. A ways into my round, and most people were making their way up to the mountaintop. I challenged one player, and the finish line appeared all of 200 yards down the road. Wound up winning that one, but then the same thing happened again with my next challenge and I got burned by it. Seems rather silly.

stock options

[editor’s note – among my favourite series so far with all this low-class stuff]

weekly “Miniature Mayhem” – Meyers Manx

trial “Street Cruising” – Mitsubishi GTO (not too bad; beat 4 robots then 2 then 4)

eventlab “Hells Mulegé City Circuit!” – Nissan 370Z (I liked it but no enemies – boo!)

eventlab “Vulcan Raceway” – Porsche 718 GTS (nice – but why “no AI”?)

speed trap “Callejón" – VW Golf '92 (tricky but satisfying; 100.06mph)

drift zone “Giro Encorvado" – VW Pickup ‘82 (surprisingly easy; 20,907)

trail blazer “Barranco" – VW Pickup ‘82 (easy; 24.425s)

championship “Field Trip” – Morris Minor (easy wins)

RA speed zone “Reservoir View” – VW Pickup ‘82 (tricky but satisfying; 60.25mph)

RA championship “Pick ‘n’ Mix” – Lambo Sesto FE (fairly easy wins)

HW danger sign “Ice Crash” – VW Scirocco '81 (easy; 250.18m)

HW championship “Fastest Car in the Sky” – Porsche Taycan S (very easy wins)

The BMW X5 FE also worked well for me in the RA championship. I’ve used it to 3-star some dirt speed zones before, so it seemed like a natural choice. And yeah, the Taycan was the only stock option for the HW championship, but the Welcome Pack version in particular completely torched the AI.

There were actually quite a few in the AH over the weekend. I picked up a spare for 10 mil.

If a console is shut down and unplugged, then turned back on and can’t connect to the Internet, how does it know what the date and time are? Is there an internal battery to keep the clock running? And if so, what happens if that battery runs out?

If it’s possible that the console can’t determine the proper time, then what should be presented to the player? Rather than handle different scenarios (can connect to Xbox to sync the clock but not Forza servers for the correct playlist), they just have the game revert to a fallback playlist for all situations where a connection fails at any step in the chain. And it eliminates some avenues for players to get around the FOMO of the playlist by changing their console clock while offline.
