My Meyers weekly challenge will not start no matter what I do. No clue what is constantly up with this game. So frustrating to have this types of issues STILL at this point in the games life.
What do you mean by won’t start? What are you trying to do? First part is just to get into a Manx, does that trigger or does the game not recognize you’re in one? Not sure if the FE version will do, guess not.
Don’t need one but these last three times I checked exactly one Buick in the AH. Plenty in the Autoshow I think ;-).
Update: and now they’re none…
That went well. Headed out in the AM DB5 for this. Got to the front to slow down the Drivatars in the 1st 2 races. Allowed team-mates to pass to give plenty of clearance on track. Two easy wins for the team.
Dead stock TRD Tacoma great for the Toyotathon. Practice for next month.
Used a stock Celica 205. Odd gearing in my opinion. Loses a whole lot of speed when shifting in some cases.
You have to make sure to actually drive the car: 10 feet or 10 miles doesn’t matter.
correct, assumed that was a known thing and it is something I sort of do automatically.
Yeah, I wasn’t trying to be Captain Obvious
just trying to help bc it has happened to others before thinking once they are in the car & exit to free roam they are good.
They probably have a betting pool to see who can get the worst feedback for an event. 5 laps of this???
S2 was a poor choice for this. Not for me this one. I do believe this track has potential. But with these settings I got rammed by the Cheatatars five times before reaching turn three or so. Ruined the experience in about 20 seconds.
Any race you don’t care about and just want it to be over, set it to Tourist.
Agreed on the very poor choice of S2 vehicle for a circuit with so many twisty turns.
I managed to win this one with the S2 998 BMW X5 FE with its Event Boost.
Won the event in 4 laps around the 9 minute mark and received a cool +42k credits for the trouble. Not the best eventl;ab,but certainly not the worst yet.
Just awaiting eveyones elses recommendation vehicle for the three Championships.
I’ve saved those until last for this week. Everything else is done… even a top 3 finish on The Eliminator ! I always do well when starting in the north mountainy area of the map. ;o)
Yep, I’ve set my default to ‘Tourist’ since day one. You really cannot lose. :o)
I completely agree. The track does look nice but the car choice is terrible. I don’t need the points nor the reward so I think I’ll skip this one.
This month has been awful and especially this week. D500 and C600 everywhere and challenges that take long to do. I hate this forced engagement model. I remember when games had meaningful content and weren’t all about grind and FOMO and other gambling derived psychological tricks.
Yep. They ruined it. The layout is okay but still really rough even as a stand alone track. I like praising events but I won’t praise this. This is absolutely poor of PGG.
Worse, it’s like the 2nd time in about roughly a month that they picked an awful Eventlab event that everyone hates.
Yep. I don’t care about the guys with dev logos. They don’t play this game and it shows.
Manx Meyers only triggered when I reset the game.
I wasn’t bothered by the Event Lab. Just not to my taste.
Championships got done without complication. The VW challenge got done without complication. Got the playground stuff done in my trusty BMW M3 '97.
Drift done in my Hoonigan Mk2 Escort.
The scandal of the week, was of course, the Trailblazer. The best car in the game - I’m sure everyone here agrees - is the lovely Renault 4.
But this marvelous car is not allowed in the trailblazer despite being clearly marked R-E-N-A-U-L-T.
Not cool, guys, just not cool. ![]()
