Festival Playlist events and rewards June 5 - June 12 (Winter S47)

For the PI 626 '93 Nissan GT-R trial, a full aero, max downforce build worked pretty well so I shared it:

I started in last in the first race and didnt get the lead until the end of the second lap, and still won by 10 seconds. In the second race, I got out front and just cruised and won by about 20 seconds. Some of the most handling oriented circuits in this trial.

Yep fulldown force worked a treat.

The max speed up the inside, brake late and wall slam crew on plaza, however…

No must not complain, give me the grace to accept and all that…

Yep, lots of 2 year olds racing Trial today.

Yeah, Im starting to prefer starting in the back so I can start wide and crossover to the inside as they plow everyone into the wall. Things arent going right when starting P12 is preferred. On Cathedral it was every corner though. sigh

yes, the turns on that circuit in Trial are . . . interesting

Im hoping the car vote goes towards the VW id and,i cant remember the other car,the VW is on my list of my hard to find cars.

the vote’s essentially over because I voted for the one with the BMW iX '22 - this means the other pair is going to win so you’re okay

The car restriction for the Osaka Sea Port EventLab changed from Series 19, from S1 900 Track Toys to A800 Super Saloons AWD. Interestingly, if you go back to Series 19 Winter in the series history, that EventLab shows the current restriction instead of what the restriction was.

Thanks … youre welcome.

As per my previous reply, I have indeed completed this championship (admittedly after success in solo). It was actually quite sedate for me. This may be because my team of 4 were all in No 24s except me. My Unimog outpaced the others early on, so I did not experience the carnage (truckage?) anticipated. Thanks for trying to warn me off!

When i ran it everyone was in a tankpool with 3 of us in the same max upgraded AWD build, just with obviously different tunes in regard to aero and suspension settings.

It was remarkably chill. We three AWD scrubs got to the front and just gave each other plenty of room, guy in first had more speed but was struggling for grip and turn in through the corners and i saw no reason to push him any harder than he was already pushing himself. Dude in third had my grip and most of the handling but wasn’t setting up his corners right or looking ahead far enough so kept loosing ground.

I so wish they would ban horns in online racing. It is ridiculous to listen to someones horn constantly going off behind you. Especially when it one of those stupid horn sounds.

Firebird TA FE and Pontiac T/A '73 do not count for today’s daily (five banked Great Drift skills in both)

tried Firebird '68 immediately after and it worked on the first Great Drift skill . . .

Is Firebird TA FE the 1987 one? If so, that worked for me.

yes . . . weird, I counted the skills, specifically Great Drift, not Great E-Drift, and ensured the skills were banked

Unlocked for me even without banking them, Ultimate Drift in one direction (which count for 3 Great in this, I remember one Weekly Challenge where it had to be the specific level and not the ones higher, and that was the only case EVER where that was the case), changing direction and moving on and the notification popped up.
