I have a memory of the championship and Peels . . . think I won it in a stock vehicle but be interesting when I get to it. I tend to be boring and go left to right in the playlist.
I tried a stock be-1, quit after 2 laps.
One of the deloreans did it but sweaty
For the car collectors out there, don’t miss out on this one. Yes, it’s an autoshow car but it’s got a hefty price tag so this is a steal if you still need this one for your collection.
Why is Hot Wheels events in playlist always a ridiculous outing?
Wallriders.
If i raced dirty and wallrided an entire race, i wouldn’t feel superior, I’d be embarrssed that i couldn’t do it cleanly.
Nissan PAO '89 was fine, first time I’ve used that one!
one-line version - DeBerti car, Río Fuerte speed zone, 2 stars
100% agree. I try and race properly but as you say the powerbuild wallriders more often than not smash their way to win.
Team of ahem…‘geniuses’
Despite my best efforts to level things out I can’t be as stupid as 95% of this game’s player base is, I’d have quit on these 3 on Bosque if it would have lost them the Trial.
I’ve been playing games online for around 15 years now and I’ve never known another game/franchise where the average player lacks as much basic intelligence, common sense and general competence as FH4 + FH5, even when compared with those that are populated by millions of young kids like FIFA or GTA at least most of them have a grasp of the basic mechanics in those games.
I’ve barely been playing the game the last week or so so I threw that AT38 together when I came on just for something interesting/silly to use, it was…ok for what it is but obviously what it is is completely unsuitable for anything involving tarmac not too bad through a single corner but if there was another one right after it was awful on the weight transfer.
I reckon this is the biggest point to be made.
The Photo & Treasure events can both be covered with a single line of text ( as others have already done ) and absolutely no need for a self promoting you tube video link just to get their YouTube stats up by any route possible.
Rather than merging them anywhere, they should just be deleted and Max can add the one line description to his weekly season thread topic. He needs to add more info on some events anyway - like you used to get on Forza Wiki before it got nerfed. Full descriptions on the weeklies and Eventlabs would be great instead of a brief summation.
To be honest i’ve kind of given up caring about hotwheels and have almost joined the wall riding brigade. I try not to do it but if it happens it happens. Not even trying to win usually just trying to get the championship done ASAP.
I know i could just not do that part of the playlist but its hard to get over the completionist mind set.
Oh and running an LFA/F12 TDF with a rally power build for all the SPEED in S1 is actually quite adictive.
stock options, series 48 “Cars & Coffee”, week 4 spring/hot season

eventlab “Lighthouse National Circuit” – N Vision 74 ‘22 (pretty good creation)
eventlab “Teotihuacán Ruins Restored” – SUBARU 22B (not bad)
[danger sign “Eagle’s Perch” – boo hiss]
speed trap “Pyramid of the Sun” – IH Scout 800A (not too hard; 100.15 mph)
speed zone “El Gancho” – IH Scout 800A (difficult even with the glitch; 65.05 mph)
championship “Just My Type” – Mazda MX-5 RF (easy wins)
championship “Going International” – Nissan PAO ‘89 (easy wins)

HW championship “Porsche up the Power” – AM Vanquish '17 (two easy wins then a fairly easy one)
I can’t post this information in a new thread and I don’t want to add it here because is for the upcoming series so I have posted it all on my website including the events for the Trial and Seasonal championships if anyone is interested
Comments seem bugged at the moment but I’m looking into this
be good if it turns out that the Viper AE can be won again
The trial Hi-Bean Racing has been miserable this week. The heavy breaking zones invite ramming all the time, and even the drivatars are swerving wildly trying to block or knock you off the road. I ended up in the dry river bed at the beginning of the race three times in a row because of one or the other and quit because it’s pointless trying to continue from there.
Came back another time of day, same thing. I’m usually first or second in trial races these days, but this isn’t racing, it’s demolition derby.
I’ll try again tomorrow morning, it’s the last thing I need to complete the whole month, but it sucks. Open and tour races have less griefing by a lot.
What was the “glitch” you referred to on the speed zone with the Scout? I gave that several tries but was a few MPH short at my best, and after seeing which speed trap it was I decided to just use the upgraded car for all three stunts. (Even then I had to go back and change my upgrades once or twice to make the danger sign because I have no idea what I’m doing in the garage.)
sometimes if you go off the road a little bit - in this case cutting across a large section of the U bend, then the speed it’s showing suddenly jumps a few mph - if you see what I mean great, if not I’ll try and remember to do a video
it might not be a glitch because the start and finish points are fixed, as is the actual time taken, it might just be a factor in how it’s being displayed . . . thinking about it this is what’s going on, it registers a specific point on the road and if that suddenly changes by quite a bit because of corner-cutting then the number is going to jump suddenly
