I gave it a quick look and I disagree/ not agree 100% with the 1st 4 segments, the rest is ok.

Hi uber understeer.

I’ve obviously spent some time writing this out, with the intention of helping as many people as possible. I’ve also spent many hours researching into some depth, to ensure no mistakes are present.

Would you mind shedding some light on your reasons you disagree with this guide, only for the simple reason that I could make some potential corrections, and not misguide anyone.

Several people have commented very positively to my guide, stating it has helped them in many ways to improve their cars handling, so I am curious to see where your suggestions may take it.

Thanks for your time bud.

I have researched alot of tuning references as well and as far as I see your site is pretty accurate.

I was under the impression however that reducing the front tire pressure helps to correct understeer while reducing the rear would reduce oversteer as long as you’re not at extremes or outside of your optimum operating temperature. On your website this is reversed.

You’re also supposed to run your springs “as soft as the track allows”. On your site you state that you should run them as stiff as the track allows. That said, stiffer springs on a smooth track is more desirable since the springs can help control roll and on a smooth track, while at the same time, tire compliance is easier to achieve.

All other info looks to be correct.

The quality of your site looks very good and is well thought out. It’s obvious that you took great pride and care in a very well thought out presentation.

Cheers!

I have adjusted a few aspects of the guide recently and I appreciate your comments bud! I have no idea why I hadn’t noticed my guide suggested running the stiffest springs possible, so I’m grateful you pointed that out!! Other areas have been overlooked and re-written where necessary.

Cheers Kryptic!
