Alright this is my last hoorah in the Forza Community before I take my leave from video games. Go ahead and favorite if you want because once I post this I’m not going to try and keep it on the front page. I’ll tried to keep the guide sound and to the point. You might have to fill in the blanks on something’s, which will come to you the more you test and tune. I’m confident this guide will work for every future forza game too; this guide uses real world logic.
First and foremost, you can’t get anywhere in tuning without patience; run laps until your times are consistent on the track of your choice, only then can you make meaningful adjustments.
Theoretically you can tune for your driving style. It’s about drivability, which is defined as making the car respond better to your inputs (Turn-in, Braking, and acceleration).
For most setting there is a continuum of adjustments. So find what feels good and commit too it. I recommend adjusting .10 or .5 at a time until you dial out the car and then reverse the adjustments by .1 until you find what feels best for you. REMEMBER 1 adjustment at a time, too many will automatically make the car crap because you can’t tell what adjustment works and what doesn’t.

YAY FINISHED!!! I’ll stick around for a while, so if anyone has questions or needs better explaining on something. Remember not to over think the tuning and practice on being consistent, with that will come better understand on what you want from the car.
I never said they have to use sport. It’s just if they do choose to tune gears just stick with Sport for the Final Drive adjustment.
I would disagree with your 80%, I cant give you a percentage, but it’s pretty darn low. Some may, but you’ll be more consistent on every track if you have the ability to adjust your final drive.
Wrong. Re-read your first sentence “just use sport”. Implies, infers, suggests all you need is a sport trans. Don’t ask for feedback if you don’t want it. You more than likely will not fair better by using sport for final drive. 1.6L is king in this game and your short shifting constantly. The 5.7 V8 has a pretty good trans stock. A few Honda’s and an Alfa a few Mercedes need race trans.
You may want to reword rethink your suggestions for transmission. Something that covers more than “just use sport”.
