Has anybody ever got ffb to work with the Fanatec CSW 2.5 in FM6:Apex I can drive and turn etc, but with zero ffb. Is there a way to fix this?
Kinda looks like nobody ever got it to work. I may play with a gamepad havn’t decided whether it’s worth the effort. I don’t really like using a gamepad for a driving game, but it may be the best way to play this particular game….
I got it to work with ffb by putting it into Xbox mode, the circle light turns green. After that the ffb and everything worked nicely.
How did you get your PC to recognize the wheelbase in Xbox mode? Although I didn’t try using Xbox mode on my CSL-DD, I was under the impression that the PC can’t even see the wheelbase while in XID mode.
After trying to use Xbox mode on PC, I gave up and just uninstalled FM6 Apex. I can’t access half the cars and the Nordscheife is locked in a DLC pack but, none of the DLC is available for purchase. It looks great, and runs pretty snappy, but its FM6 Lite. Theres better things I can do with the storage space the game takes up.
It never does actually show up in usb game controllers properties in windows but in-game fm6 it just works when set to xbox mode-green light. I’m gonna play through the little ‘career’ and at least I can say I completed it. I own it on Xbox so I’ll have to stick with my series-x much as I prefer my PC.
