So after endless sleepless nights of playtime on FH4(technically it really isn’t playing if u ask me). Adjusting colors, tweaking designs, employing small and subtle visual tricks and all that what not
I am finally done with my first livery on Forza Horizon 4, which is the Evo 6 Zero Fighter. I have finally reached a point where i am satisfied with it, at least satisfied enough to share it with others. I am sure it can be done better, but as far as i am concerned, this is the best i can do. I think it as accurate as it can get already.
I remember when this thing came out in 1999. 18 yr old me went crazy(its an Evo) because it borrows the name from Mitsubishi’s infamousnull WWII warplane. I think its good marketing; in reference of the original ZF’s… you know. effectiveness. For better or for worse.
In other parts of the world especially the western hemisphere, particularly in UK, they went crazy for other reasons; they thought the naming convention was highly insensitive. So when the car was released there, they called it the Evo 6 Extreme instead.
There really isn’t a whole load of information abt these online. ZF specific parts are not available from Mitsubishi’s EPC; no part numbers. Of the few pics that can be found online, 1 of them which is a scan from Ralliart’s pamphlets or something suggests that they are limited to 100 units. Or, 100 packages. What makes it impossible to determine, is that Zero Fighters do not have specific VINs. Anyhoos, as far as i can tell, both GSR and RS based cars were used, easily differentiated by door handle colors; body coded handles are GSR, naked black RS.
Seeing that the in-game Evo 6 is a GSR; because of the existence of the rear wiper, i left the door handles as they were.
Anyway the stripes are that of the more complex version.
I might do the other simpler one at some point, but i need a break.
