EventLab: Sculptable Road pieces

This wild idea comes from my longing to have hairpin turn props which include elevation changes. It’s probably too much for FH5, but if there’s a chance of it appearing in FH6…

Roads. Almost every eventlab creator wants to be able to place ROADS which look like roads and have the same level of traction as the in-game roads.

But how do you manage something like this? The Hot Wheels track pieces cover a lot of options but it makes for a ton of different props to pick and choose from and still leaves a lot to be desired.

What if there were a way to place bendable road pieces instead? Consider the roads of Cities: Skylines or the monorails of Satisfactory, or even the pipelines in Deep Rock Galactic. Perhaps we could have the ability to place a start and an end node and have it fill in the space with a segment of driveable road?

If we could adjust the height, angle and direction, if these road pieces were flexible enough, we could build just about anything. Different “road sculpts” could be had to cover wider and narrower roads or anything from paved to dirt to gravel to snow.

I get it, this is a huge pipe dream. But I am getting so dang tired of building roads one flat panel at a time and having extremely limited options for smooth elevation changes, especially with sharp turns. It’s a driving game, the roads are everything.

A very good suggestion. Difficult to implement, I’m afraid, but essential. Smoothness of elevation changes is something that EventLab creations really need.
