Elite Designer + Download / Usage Totals?

Hello there,

Really quick questions as I can’t find the answer anywhere on here! (this is for XBOX One)
If you don’t know the answer, please don’t reply - guesses really don’t help - I don’t mean that to be rude, it
will just mean this topic gets the actual answers and not 300 replies of guesses that still don’t really give the actual answer!

Here goes…

Q1). Where do I go on FM7 to find out the total number of downloads/uses I’ve had from all my designs?
I can’t see it in “My Drivatar” or “My stats”

Q2). How do I know what my designer rank is? Everyone keeps mentioning Amateur, Elite but I can’t see
anywhere on my profile or stats that mentions this.

Q3). Do you get told as a message that your designer rank has changed or you’ve reached “Elite” status?

Q4). Is there a place you can go to just search for designs by a tag WITHOUT having to be in a selected car?
For example, if I wanted to see all of my own designs (or anyone elses) can I just search for “GBM” and find my Tron designs (no matter the car) or
do I have to first select my Audi Hot Hatch or Ford GT and can then only search for designs related to that car?

Q5). Is there anywhere that actually explains all of the above in detail by someone from Turn10 that knows and not someone
that is having to guess?

Thanks in advance,
I’d really like to get into the designer side of things but I don’t want to invest loads of time
if it’s going to be frustrating and I’m going blind at it.

Regards,

GBM

for the first question about the number of download of your design you go in " your designs " in the paint car section, when you scroll between your design in the left side where are the info if the design is pubblic you see the box with the number of downloads , for the uses i didnt find it.

Nowhere.

A cumulative total isn’t available to view.
You will have to look at each of your saved Paints one-by-one and add them up.

You don’t. There is no known location for it on your profile/stats pages.
One thing you could try is to create an Auction with your Paint applied, and inspect how many “stars” are under your name in the Auction details.

No.

No.

No.

For what it’s worth, most of your questions are related to the Storefront, which is not a feature in Forza Motorsport 7. Many of those “No” answers turn to “Yes” if you play Forza Horizon 3 instead.

Hey, just to say thanks for the replies.
So basically Elite Designers are a myth and how you get there is unknown and trying to be one is pointless given at the moment nobody can see them on the race track other than the person driving the car.

Awesome!
Thanks again.
