Dont you guys think they need to add the legendary japanese drift tracks from ebisu in the game let me knowwhat you guysthink andsupport it so the creatorscan see this
I don’t think turn 10 likes the people that use their game to drift on lawl. They complain too much.
There are Soo Many other Drift Locations and Tracks besides Ebisu, although it is Legendary. Drifting is so detailed it takes an insider to know all the many locations and tracks that should be documented and put into a game. Hopefully The Next Forza Horizon will be in Japan.
There are no decent Drift Games on the Market,
It’s the Only reason I bought Forza7
Drifting has a Huge Market, Look at Formula D.
Ebisu makes sense since it is one of the most well known drift courses in Japan, as well as the world. There are actually 7 different courses that make up the Ebisu circuit/complex, which also houses a Zoo on its grounds. Most people associate best with Ebisu South Course or “Minami”. It is the course with the “jump” at the final corner, used in D1GP since it’s inaugural year. Ebisu is considered holy ground by the drifting community in Japan. If T10 were able to include Ebisu in Forza, I’d hope they included at least 5-6 of the courses (school circuit is no longer in use IIRC). No other console game has been able to recreate Ebisu. Need For Speed tried and it was horrendous.
I have been into drifting since 99’-00’. Courses that have been immortalized in drift culture include more than Ebisu. Bihoku Highlands Circuit, Nikko Circuit, Sugo Kart, Tsukuba (come on T10, bring it back if you can!), Sekia Hills (torn down, no longer in use), and many others.
The reality is, T10 must accommodate a large community of automotive enthusiasts, and as much as I hate to say it, drifting only makes up a small portion, despite its surging popularity. I don’t see T10 making huge strides to appease such a niche segment of the auto racing industry since grip racing is so much more popular. But I do appreciate, as we all should, T10 including drifting and “drift style” into these games. They have come a long way, and the drift settings or update, should it be true, will give us drifters features we have been asking for since FM1. A long time coming. I hope T10 reaches out to someone like myself if they ever did decide to look into expanding drift related features in these games.
