Drive(s) Not Showing Up When Trying to Install Forza 7 From Microsoft Store (Used to Work)

Hello all,

I’m trying to install Forza 7 from Microsoft Store but the drives are not showing up. I had the game previously installed on both an extenal drive and a second drive on my laptop.

When trying to re-install the game now, none of them are showing up.

  • The drives are visible in explorer.
  • There is more than 150GB of free space on both
  • Both are NTFS
  • Both are SSD
  • One internal, one external USB3.

I’ve ran the hardware troubleshooter, logged out and back in out of MS-store, all updates are applied, tried with and without antivirus running (Avast & Malwarebytes)

Change the default install location for Windows Store apps by going to Start Menu / Settings / System / Storage / Change where new content is saved.
