Drivatars in split-screen

Was there any information about them being present in the split-screen? Having just two players racing against each other feels empty.

I haven’t seen any info about that. At least - not yet. But I’m hoping for some splitscreen races with friends against AI.

Hell - it’s great to see that split screen is still in, in any way considering it’s dying out slowly in modern games.

Great question. Every once in a while my nephews come over and want to race against me and it would be nice to have, at least, a few other opponents on track to make it interesting and more challenging for the kiddos while I play the “you’re gonna beat me” role.

I would love the AI to return in split screen, I race with a few friends of mine from time to time and the split screen feels empty sometimes.

Same here I would like to add ai cars to the mix when racing with my son in split screen mode.

Yes, split-screen is great but it needs AI to add some “life” to the race.

Earlier Forzas had them, surely Xbox 1 can handle some AI in split-screen.

I’d like to see this happen, I frequently race against my 9 y/o brother in split screen, kinda boring just the two of us after a while.

This would be a brilliant feature. Would love to race against my friend and Drivatars, so we won’t need RD Grid anymore.

Any new info about this feature?

Sadly i could not find any information about this

I also found little information out there regarding the limitations of split screen.

I’m picking up my copy tonight so I don’t have any first hand experience yet, but split screen is the main mode I played for Forza 5 and I assume it will be the same for Forza 6. I could care less about beating internet strangers when I have an opportunity to race the wife!

Anyways, I read that split screen does not support weather, night or AI drivatars. :frowning:
I will find out for sure tonight but I think a more complete implementation of split screen would benefit a lot of Forza players.

EDIT: sorry for the resurrection!

So if I am understanding correctly if I want my friend to play Forza Motorsport 6 with me as well as with other cars on the track they have to buy an entire Xbox One along with the game and join me online with a Gold Membership, just so we can play together with other cars on the track for a real race experience… I would like to know how the developers thought a person spending $500 and going through a mess of steps would be easier than simply joining a friend on split-screen with some added Ai. The technology is already in place for the developers to simply add the Ai feature to split-screen at no cost to them, so for them not too can only be a loss in profit.

+1

I agree to everyone about no drivatars in split screen on Forza 5 and Forza 6 to be honest split screen is not dying I don’t understand why people keep saying that split screen is not dying it’s only dying is because of the god damn publishers like Microsoft and Sony don’t give a damn about split screen anymore they only have one thing in their heads which is money they want you to spend money on a new console to get the same game just to play together which is ridiculous it’s all an evil scheme to get more money out of you which I refuse to support. Turn 10 has seriously disappointed me because I truly loved Forza 5 and 6 truly amazing games but the lack of drivatar in split screen is a serious problem and don’t you dare give me the whole I can’t do it because of the limitation of the Xbox one for split screen because that is BS I didn’t have any problems with Forza 4 with drivatar in split screen I’m pretty sure they could have done it but since Turn 10 is being owned and published by Microsoft it was the decision from Microsoft not Turn 10 oh well I might as well stick with the greatest game of all time Gran Turismo 6 which includes 2 player split screen with racing bots goodbye Forza 5 and 6 you were a great game but Microsoft evil scheme ruined it for me.
