hi,
who runs drift zones in RWD and what scores have you got?
i run mostly RWD, not gonna type every score over but if you want to know. some drift zones are better with AWD. like the circle at the fesitval
i still prefer RWD though
All the driftzones out there are 3 stars for me on RWD but i kinda hate dirt drifting , feels odd aff
i need some competition in the drift zones in RWD, im killing everyone by lots, im sitting in the top 100 global on 90% of the tarmac zones and even in top 20 in some
In most situations, AWD will beat RWD drift zones. This is why pretty much every Forza has been plagued with cryouts to separate the drift zone scores to finally reflect who gets the best score for each category. For me, I can easily break 500K in a AWD on Needle Climb, but can also easily break 400K uphill in a RWD drifter on Needle Point.
desperate for a filter man, im at 553k rwd would be #1 for sure but no board ;(
Just curious, what’s your RWD at horizon festival zone score.
hey bro, 53k
Ugh… I’m stuck at 51,7 in a F12 tdf
.
The Horizon Doughnut is fun. I had 45K in the Iron Knight at one point, in RWD lol
how can you get >50k ?
I mostly get around 30k when it goes pretty well & the best I have is just over 40k when it felt perfect ( I only have RWD drift cars)
hey dude, i have all the videos up on my channel, scroll about half way down it’s in there, done in a few cars.
i’ll be doing some open lobbys soon, give me channel a sub and keep an eye out
Looking at the vid I can see where I am Iosing out on points ( I am now on 44k there)… and it looks like you are doing something I don’t do which is clutch kick
fast entry too before the zone … if I go that quick , I am normally in the wall
I tend to initiate a drift with power … maybe I need to learn clutch kick … It’s just I am so happy with my controller layout I am not sure where I would have the clutch
The festival site has become my favourite drift area now to test cars that I have had a go at tuning… doing the circuit past the Festival entrance … round the doughnut … back up past the stage … through the tunnel … tight turns … back though the other tunnel & head for the festival entrance again
and the bonus is you get a crack at the drift zone each lap … what I don’t like about most drift zones is ‘resetting to go again’ … this is a good way to rack up skill points
it’s a good tight loop (with penalties if you hit the walls!) anything I have managed to run well around there tends to do well out on the regular drift zones
good stuff man!
yea it’s actually pretty decent to tune a drift car on, it gives you a great scope on gearing also.
yea man have to come in quick and wash some speed to get it in that sweet spot
clutch does help, i probably abuse it to much tbh hahahha
what car you using?
I am focusing on using a Merc SL65 FE (drift point boost + all perks) … it racks up skill points really well and is so sweet to drift.
I have loads of others … volvo 244 turbo, 850r (beige sleeper!) … several nissan 370z , fairlady , subaru BRZ , BMW M6 , M3 (3 different model year) , M5 , Ford Transit(!)
Most I have tuned myself using advice from Steve the pirate as a base (one beemer M3 is AR12 tune) , volvo244 is drift club (works well)
The merc FE is actually awesome out of the box
