Drag Racing?

I’m not sure I even want to do much of it, but I am confused as to where to find it. The only way I know of to get to the drag strip is through a test drive. So, how are people getting rivals rankings on there. Maybe I’m blind (well, I kind of am), but I can’t find anything through Rivals.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks guys. I ran it a little bit in D class. Quite frankly, its incredibly boring after about three or four runs. Only point I see in it is to pad your stats on Forzastats.com. I don’t care enough…

At least I tried it though…

Drag racing is only really fun for people who love tuning, I spent days fine tuning my A class Alfa Romeo GTA, and then I ran the fasted time on the leader boards, and it felt awesome (until it got knocked out a day later) but it held second until the 40’s coupe came along. Also, tuning various cars to do wheelies is fun, to me at least.

Drag challenges have appeared on the Xbox calendar a number of times, and there are several FM5 standing badges/titles. There’s been a drag lobby in a couple of the recent monthlies, and one in May’s monthly Rivals.

I’ve had fun with them, but it does take a different mindset than 3 laps around Spa or whatever.

I’d probably enjoy it if you didn’t have to wait for the game to load so much. You wait two minutes for the game to load and then run a 12 second race then wait even longer for the game to show your points and rankings. Not knocking anyone who likes it, it just wasn’t for me.

Try out the multiplayer lobbies, there is an unlimited class and unlimited RWD room, look under the far right tab in the multiplayer section it’s amazing !

To me , the most fun with the drag leaderboards is racing your tune , tweaking it , racing it again . A drag lobby , however is a whole different story . Running eight wide with only hundredths or even thousandths of a second determining the winner , now THAT’S a race ! Plus a poor launch can make a huge difference between a win or a loss . Great fun , no matter what .

meh. Lou’s right its not done well in forza. The load screens and pay out( 1000cr) completely turn me off.
