Exactly this!!! i have tried to post on multiple threads regarding the introduction of “real” drag racing. Top fuels, big drag slicks like on the top fuels, funny cars, pro mods ,pro stock and even top fuel drag bikes and even a christmas tree. hell it cant be that hard to put some more effort into a strip that is a maximum of 1 mile long ffs…they have no excuses as with the strip being small they would have more time to work on the finer details like drag vehicles mentioned above and even adding this in depth drag racing ability to all cars to use (top fuel engine conversions, big ass drag slicks etc)
Us drag guys fans want real drag!!! if Turn10 brought everything i mentioned above about the in depth drag racing as a DLC pack for about £30 i would straight up pay for it and im sure alot of other drag fans would too!!!
Edit: i forgot to mention real staging and tyre warm up also
This is why year by year I’m getting sick of this game. Not only do they remove the most used and simple features, they don’t even bother to correct them.
I hope this is a mistake from their side. When you go to private race and click right stick on custom to see more information, it lists all the game modes you can choose including drag and tag, so that is why it could be a mistake from their part. Still a very stupid one and one you wouldn’t expect from a company like this, but a mistake nonetheless.
Dan Greenewalt should actually listen to the community. He hasn’t done so since Forza 4. The ‘new’ drag tracks have absolutely no grip like the airfield test track, just like in Forza 6. Could it be since it’s modelled as part of the normal racing track and they couldn’t be bothered to re-work it with extra grip? Just screams laziness in my opinion.
Not to mention you can build some 700hp FWD Hondas with only 225 drag slicks, how can you ever find grip with those!
