After the update on 14 Feb 2019 the LIGHT TREES for the DRAG strip at the Festival is out of synch with other online players. I DRAG race with a friend almost everyday and the lights are always in synch…when I see green he sees green. However, tonight when I am,seeing the 4th double yellow lights he is seeing the green light.
Can you please investigate and fix this issue because this is how the vast majority of DRAG racing is done in this game.
Please let us know if this issue persists for you or if it was a one-off.

Happened yesterday to me as well. Ran into 4 random guys and we all left at totally different green lights. I even changed servers twice.
Same here, was in a Horizon Life lobby and there was at least 8 players at the DRAG strip and leaving at different times.
I also switched servers, reset my xbox, reset my internet, etc… nothing helped.
This is definitely a problem after the new update. Please work on this, it’s a big part of the game for me.
Just checked again and the lights are still out of synch. I confirmed this with other random players at the Festival Drag Strip.

My drag light trees are also out of sync. Before the update I didn’t ever have this issue either. I also noticed the cars are out of sync as well. When racing my brother, we go on honks now since the lights don’t work. On my screen I’m passing him, but on his screen I’m behind him.
I’m glad that u mentioned that about the cars being out of synch as well. My buddy and I are usually about a fender difference between one another. In my screen it will show a tie, on his screen it will show him ahead by a fender, and sometimes vice versa. This was an issue before update 6 though.
Response from Forza Support… I hope my reply to their msg made it clear that I’m not the only one having this issue. I never speak on behalf of the community but I can at least say that EVERY player I’ve spoken to is having the exact same issue.

Can you confirm your router is running up-to-date firmware and not running a Teredo fliter?
Make sure your router and firewall are not blocking any XboxLive service ports.
Make sure your Network is set to Public.
These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)
If you have any L2TP, PPTP, or IPSec pass-throughs enabled, turn them off.
Ask your ISP to turn on Dual Stack instead of DS Lite for your connection if possible.

DRAG LIGHT TREES are still out… and not a reply about any sort of work to investigate the issue.
I can confirm I have consistently had this issue since the most recent update as well. Even friends in the same convoy are out of sync. Virtually NEVER had the issue before then. I enjoy some drag racing almost every time I jump on Forza and this really kills the experience. I hope this will be brought fully to their attention soon and fixed. I too think the cars are more out of sync than normal as well. When my screen showed I was ahead of a friend by about 2 cars (we were racing Peels though LOL) he said I was only ahead by a fender on his screen. I’ve never noticed that before really either. Glad that I’m not the only one experiencing this.
I’ve asked many, many players while in a Horizon Life session and every player, over the course of many different server/lobby changes, have also confirmed that the DRAG TREES are out of synch and that it only started after the latest update… UPDATE 6.
I responded back to the Forza Support Representative’s first response but have yet to get another reply from them…this was approx 2 to 3 days ago. I posted the Representative’s response above and it clearly shows that they are saying that the issue is on my end…which we ALL know that it is a game wide issue.
Heck, I figured I’d at least get a yellow “Investigating” next to the title of this thread…but nothing of use and/or effective assistance has been given thus far.
Would someone with some kind of pull, swagger, or has direct contact with the FH4 power structure please make them aware of this GAME WIDE ISSUE.

Please someone fix this issue with the game its terrible. Its bad enough that the cars have always been out of sync. Please fix the sync issue with the lights. The issue has been present since the update. Please help out the drag community!
i just started to play h4 so i wasnt on when it was in sync im always at the drag strip it would definitely be nice to have that working again i hope they fix this also add me Titaniumdrifter need more people to race with i just got an XBOX about 2 weeks ago

It’s good to see that second message. Not to get all gooshy but for a lot of years I’ve fought depression and the Forza games have been a big help with that. Whether it’s painting or building or racing or whatever. They’ve just always been what I’ve needed when I’ve needed it.
These last couple games, Horizon 4 by far being the worst, have taken the enjoyment out of the game. Core parts of the game that aren’t part of this thread, but even more, the lack of concern for what’s broken and being brought up.
It’s gotten a little better, as shown by Mr Cannon looking into this, but so many things are left hanging or just plain not answered or addressed. We’ve had “Experimental Drag” unchanged since it came out 6 months ago. Not one word on when something else is coming or the next phase of the “experiment” is gonna be thrown in.
Anyway, sorry to jump on your thread and rant. I am happy that they’re looking into this. Drag racing with my buddies is most of what I do when I do get on. I think my point of the rant was that I hope that Turn 10 and Playground understand there are folks like me that have lost some faith in the series seeing it become a Fortnite, dance off fashion show. Not a racing game. I want to believe that the core game is still there. I do. No class rivals in Horizon makes that difficult, but as Eighties philosophisor Brett Michaels once said, “Gimme somethin’ to believe in.”
No need to apologize because I have combat related PTSD and one of the symptoms of it is severe depression. I too use Forza as a rlief and a distraction from depression, physical pain, and intrusive memories from my time in combat. Same as you, I paint and race… recently I’ve been DRAG racing and have fell in love with it.
I’m having the same issue after the update… If all of us is having the same issue then the problem lies with the update and not with us.
The drag tree lights are still out of synch to this day, please fix them as soon as possible
