It doesn’t have to be common to be an exception to the SUVs don’t race argument.

Most of the arguments isn’t that SUV’s don’t race, it’s that they aren’t commonly performance vehicles or built for tarmac racing series.
When I go to the track I will see maybe 5 supercars/hypercars, 20-40 sports cars, and about 60 base model commuter cars.
This is every weekend.
This doesn’t mean Forza should be adding in 2012 Corolla Sports, 2003 base model 330i sedans to the game, but by the logic you have they should because we’ve seen them at the track before.
Nobody (but me) wants to go around the ring in a 2012 Corolla Sport, ust like many people that aren’t me won’'t care for half the SUV’s in the game (hell I don’t care for half of them, they’re cars I build to troll hoppers)
I agree that they aren’t commonly performance vehicles, but of the ones in this pack only one of them is not performance oriented. I wouldn’t mind a Corolla to be honest, but then again I like the oddball vehicles.

Let this serve as a lesson in paying for undefined content ahead of release.
If you want to avoid such disappointment in future, wait for all of the contents to be revealed and then make your purchasing decision.
Alternatively, buy Car Packs individually once they are released, that way you can skip the ones you don’t like.

Great, another update with nothing I’m interested in. I’d ask for a refund on this car pack if I could. Why can’t there be 3 classic cars and 4 newer cars in each pack? Cars meant for the track, not this truck garbage/offroad garbage. I don’t even care for the classics but I can see some people do. How they don’t get tired of using the same cars that have appeared in a number of racing games over the years is beyond me though.

I can’t remember the last game I played that had a Bugatti Type 35, or a Porsche 804 in it. The same goes for the Nissan Safari. Your last point is somewhat invalid here.
Though to answer it, we really like those cars. They could be cars from our own personal history (family member owned one when we were younger perhaps), cars we had posters of on our bedroom walls (Countach!), or even our own personal dream cars.

well, i have bought every dlc for every forza game…i cannot believe how bad this is. Even though i have the seasons pass, these will remain unpurchased in the game…awful, just awful.

I swear the logic on these forums… The wishlist thread is one of many inputs they consider when adding content. One of many. It’s not a vending machine, and if it were, do you really think they’d add another 1000 cars just because the community wants them? Why stop there? Why not 2000? Every single model requested in the wishlist is a minority viewpoint compared to the other requests because there are so many and they are so varied.
I can tell you first hand that they do care about the wishlist and they continue to care about it. Responses like the ones in this thread sometimes make me wonder why they bother. “they don’t care” is completely out of line.
If you haven’t purchased the pack and it doesn’t appeal to you, great! No need for you to spend any money on it. If you’ve purchased the Car Pass and are dissatisfied, that’s unfortunate, but there are players who are happy with the discount for getting all content. Everyone’s getting more content in the base $60 version of FM7 than they got in either FH3 or FM6 after buying all the car packs, so it’s not like there is a lack of models to choose from here.

Max, out of curiosity, can you let us know where these cars rank on the current list of wishlisted cars that haven’t been added to a Forza title yet?
I remember when the BMW i8 was revealed for Forza Horizon 3 that it was either the most or second most requested car according to your wishlist compilation data.

I’ve been asked but I haven’t had time to do the current wishlist analysis yet, hopefully by the end of January. This pack’s cars weren’t in the top 100 of previous lists but with the FM7 roster checking off so many of the previous requests, the new ranking probably looks different.
This isn’t directed at you Manty but I feel like it’s because there’s little communication between T10’s gameplan and the players on the ground.
Now I’ve kind of come to accept and deal with it, I play once a weekend to check rivals and hoppers out of hope they’re going to drop one that’ll interest me (currently the A spec rivals and the hot hatch leagues are my bread and butter), but it’s obvious most of the forum feels otherwise or atleast personally slighted by it.
That being said, I’m unsure how you would even give car wishlist communication better than you have, it’s not a simple as an Asetto Corsa mod pack where you have laws and protections against most Cease and desist orders from the holders of the copyright of the design.
