I don’t get “good pass” or “perfect pass” skills when i overtake. I see only that for Corners.
Play on PC with steering Wheel.

The game has a slightly odd idea of what a good pass or perfect pass look like.
It’s based on a speed difference and I also how close you were to the other car - so a perfect pass, you really have to be motoring and to be pretty much touching wing mirrors.
Someone else has mentioned recently not getting rewarded for these, not tried it recently to see if it is a bug or not. A friend suggested setting up a race on one of the ovals to test it out, might just have to do that & report back.
I see now, in Free Play I get it, and not in the campaign
Not tried in campaign, did just set up a couple of freeplay races on an oval. First time out ten laps of Daytona, got 5 good overtakes of the necessary 8 off the start - didn’t manage to get any more despite flying past the competition (at this point had all 3 mod slots filled with underdog cards for making 8 good overtakes).
Even pitted to see if that would allow me to gain passes for re-passing cars but no. End of 10 laps only 5 good overtakes.
Ran it again, 5 laps this time but replaced one of the underdog cards with one which placed me in 22nd place at the start, started slowly to let the pack open up a bit and easily had the 8 before the end of the first lap.
There must be something written in to the code for passing which means you can’t gain good or perfect passes for cars you’ve already gone past, I guess to stop people overtaking then slowing, then re-overtaking the same car over and over.
Same issue. Pass skills don’t work on campaign but they’re working fine on Free Play

Ahh, I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed this. I tried everything make a good or perfect pass but I did not succeed.
I haven’t played since Jan and according to my stats I have hundreds of Good & Perfect passes. I have just had a couple hours on the game and I cant get any mods relating to passes to work. Something is definitely broken.
Same here, definitely not working in campaign.
I posted on the other thread, but passes haven’t worked in campaign races for weeks.
I get rewards for them bit they’re extremely hard to get. It’s rare I even get one perfect pass a race. You have to be unbelievably close to the opponents car and going past them at a much higher speed. You also can’t get a perfect pass on a straight to my knowledge (Unless you’re in a Koenigsegg racing issetta’s and flying past them.) But even Then I’m not sure if it works. I’ve found the best place to get them is in extremely hard braking zones. Turn 1 at COTA, Spa and other hairpins and such seem to work best. You really have to divebomb and pray you don’t sideswipe the AI just to make it work though.
I couldn’t get any regardless of trying stuff like that. Yet in free play they’re popping up left, right and centre easily.
Also I don’t think the good and perfect corners work in campaign either.
Actually they do. But that’s the only thing I’ve noticed in campaign.
