I’ve read here in the forum about duplicate cars being gifted - like the Hurican, for example - but I don’t think the game should allow the purchase of a car if it is already in my garage. Or, at the very least, it should give a warning.

No, only removing the car. Also isnt there a garage icon in the Autoshow to tell users you own that car?
Yes if you already own the car it has a garage icon in the buy cars menu.
You should post in the almighty wishlist thread. Individual wishlist are not allowed.
I have a lot of multiple versions of one car, they have an icon that you already have it. Just don’t buy a car if you don’t want to haha
I love to have more than one of certain cars. I tune them to a different class.
Maybe you should try it?
