Does Turn 10 not care as much about FO7 compared to FOH4?
There’s nothing unusual or preferential about the timeline to date: FH4 is continuing to get updates just as FM7 did at this point in its release history and FH4 is still 7 months away from the point at which FM7 received its last content update, nearly two years after it was released.
Licensing cars occurs with each game individually, and they were not able to come to an agreement with Toyota during FM7’s active development. What T10 announced was that they shifted the team over from FM7 to the next Motorsport project, which happened months before Toyota was added to FH4. With no more develop going on with FM7 it wouldn’t make sense to try create new license agreements for it.

M8 is out this year so they don’t have time for it. I think it’s better to build great M8 in time and with all features.
H4 is different story because H5 could be out next year or not. H4 is Game pass seller so you still need to have updates for it.
Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon are made by different developers.
Turn 10 doesn’t make the Horizon games, they do focus on Motorsport
FH4 is barely over a year old, FM7 got nearly 2 years worth of post launch support, More then any previous Forza game before it.
Well, Turn 10 did announce months ago that the August update would be the last as they are moving on to the next Forza Motorsport game
And they did, as mentioned earlier, FM7 got longer post launch support then any previous Forza game.
Sometimes it’s just better to have the devil you know so you can get your tunes and ffb, etc square for a while and not worry about a patch changing everything again.
