I would Love to Have The Little Red Express and Warlock in the game . My dad had a Warlock and i had a Little Red Express they were great !
I would love to see a 1977-1978 dodge Ram w150. They were the best looking trucks of their time and had a LOT of power. It would make a great off road vehicle or drag truck. The truck could come stock with a 318, then have engine options go up from there all the way to a 440 big block. There is only one ram truck in the whole game and I think we need at least one more, and why not hit it off with a beautiful, powerful truck!

I would feel that dodge trucks most definitely need to be added as well as the square body chevys. where im from the guys around here are building the old trucks to race over the cars

Forza Has a lack of a Trucks in the game. American classic Trucks. There are a good few. But still it leaves a lot to be desired. And a big portion of the Players love and would pay a lot for more diverse trucks if they appeared in the festival playlist for an Example or a DLC. But Forza would want a truck with an interesting background and history. They could chose Chevys 1500 454SS. Or Rams 1500 SRT10, but why don’t we start with where muscle Trucks all started.
It’s the Mid 70’s, Dodge’s Truck sales are at a low. They were at the bottom of the game. With Chevy and Ford both annihilating the Domestic Truck market Dodge Had to do something to bring more customers in to there trucks.
In 1976 Dodge Launched an Exclusive series of Trims and packages for there Trucks and Vans called the “Adult Toys” line.
The Adult Toys consisted of 3 new packages for there trucks that made them more appealing to there Customers.
The Li’l Red Express was Americas First Muscle Truck! Predates Ford Lightning and Chevys 454SS by almost 20 years. The Li’l red was a very special truck build for performance and snuck around Government Regulations that araised from the recent oil crisis. The li’l Red came as a 2WD, 3spd auto or 4spd manual, with a 360 cubic inch V8. With 225 Horsepower and 340 lbs-ft of torque. It featured A red Exterior with a billboard “lil red express truck” door decal, along with Lil Red Exclusive Semi Truck style “smoke stacks”, a wood boarded Stepside bed and a nice set of chrome wheels. As I said before this truck grandfathered any muscle trucks we have around today. The lil red became the world’s fastest production truck in 1978. For 1978 only dodge “offered” a dealer installed Package on your lil red express. Which turned your lil red express into a “Midnite Express”. They threw the 360 out of the truck and snuck a high output 440 in to the truck. Dodge didn’t really market this truck because it was against the previously mentioned Government regulations. And they would have been fined. But they snuck around it because it was a Dealer installed package.
The Power Wagon was a 4X4, V8 Powered Truck. It could come with any thing from the Work horse 318 Small block to the Power House 440 Big block. A there was an even more ramped up version called the “ Macho Power Wagon” which came with Decorative Decals Specially paint matched wheels. A bed Roll bar and a specific to the Macho front Grille guard.
The Warlock was a Trim to add on top of your D/W Series Half Ton pickup. What made the warlock so popular was the wood side boarding for the bed that came standard for the truck and The gold pinstriping. Most commonly found in black the warlock came in green, red and orange. It came standard with the 225 Slant Six but bigger engine options were available. It was also available in 4WD (W) or a 2WD (D)
And these truck were just the beginning, dodge Expanded and made even more packages after these like the Palomino, a western Cowboy inspired truck. Or Regional packages, if you were a Minnesota Vikings Fan you could buy a truck in the previously discontinued Plum Crazy purple color with Vikings decals on your truck. As well as Dealer installed packages like the Midnite express.
Here why I think The Li’l Red Express would be an amazing addition to Forza Horizon. Like i mentioned before Forza has a very scarce amount of trucks in the game. Even less American classic trucks. The Li’l Red Express has a huge amount of history. And would fit right in. And with Drivetrain swaps to make it 2 or 4WD players could have a muscle truck or a custom Offroad 4x4, players could also paint it to look like any one of the other Packages I mentioned. A cool feature could be to make the bed change able from a Step Side and a Regular Fleetside bed. Over all I think The 1978 Dodge Lil red express truck is a great vehicle to add to the game because it has an awesome history for being the first muscle truck. And the truck it’s self has got so many diverse trims and packages. and would add even more diversity to the games car selection.
