I just had a awesome multiplayer race in b-class at mugello short
Especially with a racer pink/purple Ford Focus RS. Dont remember the gamertag.
When one of us did a mistake we did not crash into each other, just wait when the other got past and then re-enter the track.
He had really nice sportsmanship.
He had a more of a handling tune and i had a tune that was fast on the straights in my silver mercedes.
When we got to the straights the other player did not crash into me, just let me past and when he was in any corners and i could not defend my place.
I gave him space so he could do a safe pass.
This was one of my most enjoyable MP racer so far in Forza Motorsport.
if the other driver also visiting the forza forum, i want to thank you for one of the best battles in multiplayer so far.
Have anybody else had similar experiences too

Yes. Mostly good. Except being lower than B safety. In almost every high safety, first turn is really dangerous when race is started.

Sometime yes, I’ve found GT3 lobbies very competitive but with a lot of clean drivers. Some lobbies are most dangerous than other: P class begin the first imho. Most players pick the Ferrarri or the McLaren F1 and are not able to control it. Even the Exocet in A class ia dangerous car and I’ve see tons of incident.

Yes, every week.
I run a club and we matchmake as a group.

Most of my races are bangers. That being said when I’m one of five people out of 20+ that bother to qualify, i spend most the race getting passed haha
Occasionally half the time I’ll qualify right in the middle where i belong in most lobbys and ill actually get to make progress.
The racing has been much more gentlemanlike since patch 8.

The 3 links are a photo finish race
Rarely.
Even more rare to enjoy a close race.
Most drivers can’t even keep their car pointed forward and/or on the track, so it’s nearly impossible to stay anywhere near them for long before they go ballistic:
• get beside them & they side-swipe
• get ahead of them & they’ll dive-bomb at the next turn
• get behind them & they’ll brake-check or spin-out to block the track & get t-boned
It seems like most of my public online races with randoms consist of 3 groups:
1 = a couple of super-fast drivers battling each other far ahead of everyone else
2 = a chaotic mid-pack of wasteland ravagers with no car control making a total mess of everything for everyone around them
3 = a few drivers just leisurely cruising way at the back (maybe AFK, maybe their controller battery died, maybe just chilling with the self-driving assists, etc.)
…The only way I’ve found to survive is to try to get in the clear/safe zone between groups #1 & #2 and stay far away from other drivers, but sometimes I get rammed off-track so severely that I get sent back behind group #3.

I know what you mean. I always try to drive my qualification as fast as possible, I have to be in the top 10 otherwise it will be chaos. But because the TCR vehicles are not balanced, the Audi RS3 is always the meta car. I have to let the T10 know because it’s really boring when a car is meta.
