If I tune a car before gifting it, either piece-by-piece or installing one of my saved tunes, will the recipient get the tuned car or will it be reset to its default tune?

I think some of the gifts I have been sent had tunes on them but I am not sure as it has been ages since I bothered to take a gift
I received an upgraded car not too long ago. Liveries also stay on the car.
