Dear tuners, i was wondering when do you know that it’s time to stop trying to perfectly balance a car and just accepting that the car have it’s own« problems ». Do all the cars can be tune like we want them to be or some cars have limits? I’m not talking here about a 980hp lightweight car who oversteers at corner exit on full throttle cause i know we have to take care of our driving technique. I’m talking here more like a corner entry oversteer. My 2014 volvo s60 stcc on Mugello full circuit constantly do that. I’ve tried loosening the rear arb, springs and rebound, stiffening the front arb, spring and bump nothing seem to work…
Since we can’t adjust brakes with that car due to the homologation i don’t know what to do anymore. Ideas would be welcome…
you can swap out the brakes just as long as you stay within the other required specs for that class , hp weight tires are the only limitations i know of . i never use that auto homologation stuff . pick your car apart and see what you can swap in and out to get your tune where you are comfortable with it
Please correct me if im wrong, but id like to say you can add a dif to most tunes. Add dif raise decel problem will go away i promise.

Ok thank you !
and is it true that playing with the brake bias only move the problem to an other portion of the track? (I read that somewhere) or at some point you just have to take that option?
It is dependent on the type of track, a track like long beach is going to require a different brake balance than a track like spa. Long beach is flat with nearly no sweapers and having more rear brake bias may help with rotation where having an off camber turn may cause you to spin nearly everywhere. However I don’t believe this is nearly as crucial in forza as it is in any other racing title. In forza my brake bias are usually identical 52-54% front. The cars characteristics dont change throughout a stint either which is a reason one would want to change brake bias. Example: In iracing in the lotus 79 as the race goes on and the fuel burns off the rear of the car gets very light it is common about every 1/3 of the race to move the brake bias forward a click to prevent the car from wanting to spin when the balance of the car changes.
