DLC Car packs

I want to know how the DLC car packs work, when I click on them in the marketplace it says I am getting those cars added to my garage, is this true? or am I just paying to have these cars unlocked and then later purchased with credits or tokens?

You get your first one of every model in a pack in game for free, but you do have to go pick the up from the store under the “free cars” tab to add hem to your garage. If you’d like a duplicate car, it costs.
