Dirt 4 coming in June,anybody interested?
I definitely am, ever since I’ve played DR I have a hard time enjoying any game that’s strictly on tarmac lol.
I just hope they lean more to the sim side , the one thing I really love about DR is how bare bones it is. It doesn’t have all that arcade stuff pop up with a woosh and and big bass sound. That stuff just rattles the crap out of my buttkicker, I know it’s kinda of trivial but it’s annoying. I have have to leave it off when I play FH3 because of all the interference. It is so cool though flying down a Finland stage feeling every bump and the jolt I feel when landing from a jump is pretty awesome. As long as it feels as good or better than DR I’m sure I will buy and enjoy it
Edit: I’m also a little disappointed with the fact that they only have 5 locations for Rally but hopefully “your stage” will make up for that. Also like having the landrush buggies and trucks back.
Going to have 2 handling modes,one like DR and one for the less serious,should be a blast,like what I have heard so far.
I am. Just after I picked up DR I happened to notice that I had Dirt 3 on my PC. While I don’t mind DR I found there was a much higher “fun factor” in Dirt 3. I will definitely be grabbing D4
Yes, I’m very interested. I really liked the first 2 Dirt games and Dirt: Rally - knowing Dirt 4 will have even better physics and sim handling mode makes me excited.
Loved the Colin Mcrae series from the very beginning. Had incredible fun with the numbered Dirt games, not so much with Dirt Rally unfortunately.
Really? Dirt Rally is my favorite one by far. I bought it twice (PC and Xbone). I’ll admit, it’s not suuuper great with a controller (still good), but with a wheel it’s very good.
That may be where I’ve been going wrong with it, I don’t have the money spare to get a wheel setup. It may also be in part to the difficulty of it, I couldn’t manage to get skilled enough at it to actually progress all that far in it. From what I’ve read, Dirt 4 will cater to both the hardcore simulation players, and the more casual type players, so I expect I may enjoy 4 more than Rally.
Yeah, I didn’t really have the money, either. I have a pretty big collection of old videogames, though, that I bought mostly like 10-ish years ago before people started collecting them - so they were all really cheap. I sold one game for close to $600 and used that money to get a decent wheel setup.

I only dabbled in the recent DIRT Rally.
I may go back to that soon but knowing that DIRT 4 will be a more varied game. Previous DIRT games have been pretty enjoyable to may give it a go.
I loved Dirt 3. I’ll be getting Dirt 4 very soon after release, if not on day 1. Honestly, I’m looking at the Hot Wheels expansion as a good way to hold me over till then.
Oh golly YES! I’ve loved the Dirt games, right from the second one. I’m really looking forward to Codies getting the car behavior and physics right for tarmac stages. Should be good fun. Stoked!
Yea I can’t wait to get it, with all the new footage popping up lately I’m really anxious to check out your stage. Really looking forward to Michigan and Australia also excited to try landrush in sim mode.
I hope they get it right to, Spain is going to bring loads fun.
Enjoying it so far… Concentrating on the Rally Career at the moment just taking a break at level 16… it’s been an intense few hours lol…

When I saw the length of the last rally event I decided to have a break and head to the trucks … I now you can take a break but I like doing events back to back while I’m in the Groove…

I’m about 56 hours in now 110 Events an I’m 100% on Rally , Landrush and RallyX 75% on Historic Rallying and Just Finished the Triple Crown Championship…
In the Triple crown Championship your looking at 1 hour + Rally events over 8 stages some 10 miles or over in length…
Concentrating on getting the SP over an done with first before MP…
