It’d be nice if we could choose which direction we will be facing in free roam after fast traveling. It’s annoying that, most of the time, I’m facing in the completely wrong direction unless I set up a destination prior to fast traveling.
Set a location on the map then fast travel. You’ll then be facing the right direction.

Well, that’s a pain in the butt. So, no, that’s not a solution.
Well it’s one extra button press and is the solution.
