Did they clean the Leaderboards up?

I am not seeing any dirty laps indicated. I am only Position 55(Asia) on Watkins Glen in the Ford Focus can’t seem to move it. Stopped eating a week ago so it is not the weight.

not getting any, that is because they do not show up.

I think I’m missing something - what?

Uh no, hasn’t been cleaned up nor will it be.

Well, I don’t really check in that often but each time I have I see the times of (I think top 10?) and then my position next to a few of them was the dirty lap indicator. Maybe I am going mad I just don’t know but it is quite possible the with month I have had.

Where are you looking at your lap times? In both Free play and career, when you look at the leaderboards, you initially get your geographic area, with the next sort being world, then I think Near you, then Friends and finally hardcore.

I’m still not clear on what the problem is or what you think has happened.

If you had a dirty time on the board, they didn’t clean it up and make your lap time clean, it should still show a dirty lap indicator, until you do a better/ clean lap time.

The phrase cleaning up the leaderboard seems to imply the removal of suspect times, which if it has occurred would potentially promote one of your previous laptimes higher on the board, than it had been previously but it would not convert a dirty time to a clean time.

I did have the dirty indicator on a few tracks. I do not go through the whole board just the first screen and it did say Asia next to it so geographical. All my times are suspect because I am positive I am going faster than that. I did see some lap times that were up top that were impossible to achieve in Class C 500 and thought I will never get there since the car could not do it whereas it appears more realistic now.

I get what most of it means except File

The File column (right half circle) shows whether there is replay / ghost and (left half circle) if the tune used can be downloaded.
I know there is no ghost or replays on the LB right now, but in the past games you could click on the LB driver name and race that ghost…if it was on file.
Hope this makes sense.

I’m still a little confused as to what your question is? I apologise if there is a language barrier here, I appreciate the boards are English only and that may not be your first language if you are in the Asia region.

Your quickest clean lap is recorded on the leaderboards, so you may have had faster dirty laps that have not been recorded.

The guys who are at the top of the boards in C Class are probably just very good. I have to my surprise a number of number 1’s in the world currently but I am at best an average driver. I expect those times to tumble down the leaderboards on decent sized tracks by a couple of seconds at least.

I thought leaderboards were based on car divisions not class?

Depends on the car you are in. I used the word class as the Op talked about C500.

If you have upgraded a car outside of Homologation rules to the top of C Class for example, then run it in free play under open, you will see a leaderboard which will include all of the top times which don’t fit the homologation rules. Your C Class car will be on the same board as X Class etc.

Some of the homologated cars do top out at C500 though, so could be either way.

Hm interesting. The leaderboard situation sounds like a sequel to Inception.

Cheers for the info.

Thanks for the info all. I generally try to keep my cars in the standard form or close to it. If I race a Ford Falcon 67 XR then I want to compete with cars from around that mark no matter what country they are from. I had the Ford Focus FE and added a few items and next thing I was way over and racing in the wrong class I think A. I went back and purchased most of the parts for it and messed around for a while and it had just slipped into B Class but when I added the roll cage it landed on C 500 which is good because I managed to lower it a little, race diff (Still lost but can take comfort in the fact I did all I could).

I don’t worry too much about the leaderboards but when I first went there from memory there were only about 100-125 users(Asia) I was 51 then but put in perspective it was hardly worth busting out the champagne. I recall seeing some dirty lap times because I figured oooh I am going to fit in well here. I wonder if it showed a few dirty times until it becomes populated or was a glitch.
