Well, there is another thing which is annoying every time I get to choose a car for a specific event.
The filter options in the car list are way too limited and are optimized for the core game and the default car groups only.
But since we have the possibility to practically transform any car into what we want it to be (e.g. rally car, drifter, drag racer) we need an option to filter the cars by its used tires. That way if we search drift cars for example, we are not bound to the default “Drift Cars” search option which only results in the standard ingame drift cars but we would also get an overview over all our cars in the garage that are built for drifting. The ones we have built ourselves included.
Same goes for rally cars. If we could filter for cars with offroad tires it would be much easier in the new Rally Expansion to find all custom built rally cars and again not only the ones Forza is seeing as rally cars by default.
With 100s of cars, a complete redesign of the Garage UI is necessary. A table design with filters, search, apply/select-all checkboxes at the top, columns for SPs applied (#/#), #tunes, #liveries…, batch options. Since FH1 the garage UI has focused on individual cars. When there were only 100 cars, although cumbersome, this was manageable. With 800 cars, ever tried to figure out which one’s needed SPs aplied? Also, applying liveries should work like tunes. I have hundreds of liveries. If you use the search feature, it will apply a “copy”, taking up another slot with a new date and breaking the total downloads count. To avoid this I have to scroll through 480 of my designs to find the right one. How about a search command within “My Designs”?
