Damage in Featured Multiplayer races

Online races been fun so far only thing I’m missing is full sim damage on featured multiplayer races.
Like the GT Featured race was in FM7. Wouldn’t mind a damage for serious racing and non damage lobbys for more casual.
Driving with damage on hopefully provokes for more clean driving.

I’m down! You tired of being used as a break bumper too huh?

I played too much AC/ACC, it’s built into me that contact is bad…

I totally agree, I think for featured multiplayer (competitive) we would have to have a minimum of damage. This would also make the players a little more serious.

Completely agree. And not even in featured, but in open multiplayer too. Because in open your rating changes too. In private as an option, turn on/off.

Yes that would be a great option, multiplayer is so much fun when driving with respect, when your car is damaged like in real life it have to be clean and fun racing :+1:t2::+1:t2:

I think all online races should have sim damage on, it would stop a bit all this grip Forza aero meta abusers in low class races. And stop engine braking abuse (dive bombers like to use it)

Hello, I’m here to request that a permanent series with damage be added. One suggestion is for each month:
Week1 - TCR
Week2 - GT2
Week3 - GT3
Week4 - GT4 (future class?)

It would be a good place for players with experience in other simulators like acc/iracing, and could attract some back to forza.

I think this lobby will not empty the existing lobbies, this is for a specific niche of players who expect a higher level of racing simulation and disputes.

Very nice!

Awesome suggestion.
Anything that enforce the simulation would be very appreciated for the hardcore community.

I’d go one further and even like a ‘hardcore’ lobby - no assists, cockpit/driver view, simulation fuel and tyre wear, full damage, etc.

We need this. Drivers want to bump you off the track or spin you out, might make them think twice taking damage to do that.

Forza urgently needs to allow players to create public lobbies and events with training and qualifying

The game is 1 year old and still doesn’t have a simple feature that every racing game has had since 2015. Creating public lobbies is a feature that existed in Forza Motorsport 4, how can Forza 8 not have it?

Another feature that is even more inexplicable is that it doesn’t exist in Forza Motorsport. How can the Lobbies created by T10 have training and qualifying but players can’t create events with training and qualifying?

T10 could at least be more clear about why such features are not present in the game. I also don’t know how to explain a feature having and at the same time not having it in the game.
