This car started life as DAF 66 and was available as a two door saloon, two door coupe and three door estate. The photo of the red car above shows the DAF 66 Marathon Coupe.
Volvo bought DAF in 1974 and within a year rebadged the cars as Volvo 66. The production continued in the same factory in the Netherlands but the two door coupe body style shown above was dropped. Production of the three door estate continued for a few more years…
