Cyberpunk 2077 Quadra Turbo-R V-TECH available free on Dec. 11

I went back to my drag tyres S1 tune. Normally, with Forza rear aero, you want min downforce, but as it doesn’t have Forza rear aero, but does have adjustable aero, and is lacking rear end grip, it seems better to increase the rear downforce. It’s also quite hard to drive, so there was a lot of scope for better driving / getting lucky with a good run. I ended up 2.1 secs ahead of FN rather than 0.1, which makes it look a lot better, but the best '92 NSX times were still over 3 secs ahead, and there were people a fair way ahead of me who I have beaten on other leaderboards, so in terms of S1 drag tyres, at least, it doesn’t seem to be able to compete with the meta, but maybe it would do better on a lower speed track that favours mechanical grip.

Still, 19th out of over 22k people, top 0.1%, isn’t bad.

I had a quick try in the NSX again and improved by a second to 35th. Still 5 secs behind the top NSX times though. I will guess they were using different tunes to me.

I made a tune as well, S2 I lowered the power so that it handles well.

I saw this on the map and thought it was something malicious, especially with a name ending in .exe with a dodgy-looking Street Scene icon.

Quadra is ridicilously good on S1 dirt. It has more mechanical grip(Offroad is all about mechanical grip in Fh4 physics. Downforce is mostly useless.) then from Porsche 917/20, which cant stay in S1 900 while equiped with dirt tyres and awd swapped. Quadra stays in S1 class and has decent straight line capabilities.

Seeing awd swapped classic racers and Deberti Mustangs on S1 dirt was already bad enough now we have this futuristic nonsense. All because of the Fh4 flawed PI system.

Thanks PG.

It wasn’t good on my test track (road, dry) but I assume (as talha said) the mechanical grip of those insanely wide tires combined with the aero grip from race aero gives it a big advantage on dirt & snow.
Power/weight ratio also isn’t that bad on paper but the acceleration felt sluggish and it took ages to hit top speed.

Gave the Quadra V-TECH a run in some road races. I must say for a Modern Supercar in S1 (events i tend to like) it is severely lacking. Nice looking car but i don’t think it would be my first pick in any S1 event.

Gearbox really lets it down along with acceleration and grip. Haven’t used it in any Dirt events yet so it might turn out to be good there…be a laugh if it does

Back to the forum after serveral weeks off (PS5), I just discovered today about this car, thought it was too late but in fact, not. Could do the race and get the car. Happily it is not a new meta.

Having this car in the game softens the blow that the Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 was. First game I refunded. :frowning:

In FH4, though, the car is very nice. I’ve heard it’s not too bad in S1 road, but people these days expect top tier car and it might not make the cut.
