When creating a custom route…
…does the exact line that I drive become the racing line for those who then drive the event with full line assistance?
…do my braking and throttle inputs determine the braking and throttle indicators for those with racing line assistance?
… do the Drivatar vehicles deviate from my driven line (and if so by how much)?
I’m currently creating my routes at a steady 50mph but I’ve not yet struck the balance between a realistic driving line for those using line assistance and a realistic racing line for the Drivatars to follow. Setting a nice racing line for players to follow seems to result in the Drivatars cutting corners and smashing / getting stuck on obstacles.
