Three times in a row - finish the drift, the “you’ve arrived…” message starts, and the game crashes to the desktop.
Rebooted, tried again, still crashes.

Same here. Speed zone is also borked and doing the same. Apparently this is the same issue ppl were having in the last series with some events. I posted to forza support twitter acct but I would not hold your breath. and thus ends my streak of 100% completions in 2021 bc of a bug…ever since they released the steam version there have been no end of issues every series
Been having the same issue. I reported it (submitted a ticket) and got a response the same day, requesting my dxdiag and event reporting log. Which I promptly provided. That’s been three weeks ago now, with no further updates or responses on their end.
Every speed zone, immediately upon entry, will lock up the game, send the remote into full-shaker mode, hang for a few seconds, then crash out to the desktop. Every drift zone will do the same upon leaving the drift zone.
I switch to the actual Xbox for those specific challenges, and avoid the zones at all costs while on PC (because when it crashes, it also loses whatever progress you’ve made in the last few minutes or more, apparently… ) - I’m glad I’m not the only one fighting this, it tells me I can stop hunting for driver conflicts, etc. But I sure hope they decide to try fixing it, because playing on the Xbox sucks ~so~ bad… "Ain’t nobody got time for that… "

I have same problem with crashing in speed zones and also drift sections.
