Crash on PC. Seems impossible to fix.

A few days ago my FH4 decided to stop working. I can launch the game and it will load up to the start screen in which you press enter to begin. Only, when I press enter, the game freezes and closes. The game and windows store both say the game version is 1.300.860.2. Which according to the patch notes is the Xbox version. I have tried just about everything i can to fix this: Reset, Re-install, windows update. re-installing the windows store etc. But NOTHING works. Any suggestions or should i just wait untill the next update drops or something. I tried putting a support request in but it’s been FOUR DAYS with absolutely no response? Is that some kind of sick joke?

Anyway, i’m all out of ideas and all out of patience too. If anyone knows how i can fix this please let me know.

You can try to sign out of your XBOX profile (in XBOX app), then sign in with another account (create another if you don’t have an alternative account), and see if problem continues. If everything works, go back to your main account, and see if it now works.

Just tried this and can confirm the Alternate account DOES work perfectly, however switching back to the main account I get the same crash after pressing ENTER.

Just tried this and can confirm the Alternate account DOES work perfectly, however switching back to the main account I get the same crash after pressing ENTER.

Have you already interrupted that sync that happens sometimes (and that can took a long time to complete in some cases)?

I have faced some long syncs (in FH3), and I heard it’s not advisable to cancel the sync as it might corrupt the save file.

Sadly, it seems like the game save became corrupt for your main account.

If that’s the case, I don’t know what to do besides waiting for a reply from the support team.

Yeah it took about 10 minutes once BUT i waited it out and it synced up fine, but still crashes. I’ve opened a ticket so we’ll see what they have to say i guess.

I have the same issue. And it’s hopeless. One in many times it will work fine.
